I got this from SOHH.com.
In other news, the magazine was just ordered to pay Eminem $131,388 to cover legal fees incurred in connection with a copyright lawsuit filed last December by the music superstar. Federal Judge Gerard Lynch ruled that The Source had violated a court order barring the magazine from publishing the complete lyrics to unreleased songs recorded by Eminem when he was a teenager.
So - not only did The Source fail in their "Eminem is racist" campaign, now they gotta pay him too for printing the lyrics to the song they based their allegations on?
God damn - The Source got owned on that one. ;D
-
Good for them. Fuck The Source.
How much you wanna bet that if they review Encore, their gonna give 3 or less, further destroying their credibility as journalists. You can't say someone's music sucks just because you don't like the person the artist is. Fans realize this stupidity and that is why it's losing sales and prestige. (even though it lost prestige a long time ago).

Well, paying that fine is not that much, if you compare it to what The Source has tried to do to Em: destroying his carreer.

Benzino made money off his last album? LOL...I bet he LOST money, from paying all the radio stations to get spins, and all the music channels to play his video...That shit was promoted like a MUTHAFUCKA, and still only sold like 20 copies...LOL...And remember, whoever bought the album got a free subscription to The Source...LMAO
