Title: 1st day in the reserves

just thought i'd tell you all about my interesting day....i found out for 2 weeks out of the year we go to cool ass places...the last 3 places they've been was sicily, puerto rico and greece

they gave me a bunch of shit to keep in my trunk such as backpacks, a tent, canteens, bullet proof vest, helmet, gun holster and ammo holder

in the upcoming months they'll teach me to drive a hummer and big ass trucks i'll also be issued a pistol and get to take accuracy tests with the 9mm and m16

all this for free and i get paid  ;D

i really enjoy all your tax money

i was going to but when i got to albany for some tests, i just decided not to for some reason... i can't quite put my finger on it. they said they'd invite me back in a few months in case i change my mind but i don't think i'm going to

i mean it was good money, but i'd have to put college on hold and i just want to finish my degree and see where that gets me
