Tired ass topic, but if you're talking about up and coming rappers, I would say Crooked I, Sly Boogy, Guerilla Black.  If you're talking about OGs, I would say DJ Quik, Warren G, E-40, Kurupt, WC.

You all know I'm gonna say DJ Quik, So: I think Quik is the best on the West.

I'm really excited that Major labels are getting behind: The Game, Sly Boogie, Guerilla Black etc...

The "slump" is over, and I really think we can look forward to a new breed of up and coming westcoast artists. The next year or 2 is gonna be VERYYYYYY nice.

With XL and everybody else brining up the underground, It's a GREAT time to be a West coast rap fan.

Yukmouth stil makes dope hits (ugoa 1 & 2, also the cd he made with c-bo was tight). Crooked Iz tight but hez got nothin out but 2 mixtapes and the shit on dysfunktional family soundtrack. E-40 might blow the fuck up since he joined LiL Jonz label. Game'll blow if he gets the right promotion and if his cd actually comez out...but i aint feelin G-unit...they know how 2 make commerical hit recordz and the westcoast aint about sellout recordz

It is a shame how dead the westcoast is now.   The south just took yall cookies.  There is really no talent on the westcoast no more.  Yeah, Crooked I is alright.  The Game to me suck.  Yucmouth is played out.  He let Master P fuck him.  Snoop is the west only hope.  I feel for yall.
