ooo lets get snoop back to his doggystyle era.. i got an idea.. throw timberlake on a track .....
-
Well, it was bound to happen, and it finally did. Snoop has officially joined N*Sync.
-
I wonder...does Snoop have doubts about what he's doing at any time? If I were a westcoast vet, I don't think I could really make a song with someone like Justin Timberlake and not feel that I shouldn't do that. But I suppose Snoop has slipped away too much. The guy has lost his integrity to the allmighty dollar.
It does look like this will be Snoops commercially best album ever though...he's got the majority of tracks produced by the Neptunes, Justin Timberlake & Trina will feature and Lil' Jon is gonna produce and/or feature. It will be a black page in the book of westcoast rap though...pitch black.

e-40 and justin
West side connection and Mariah
Sly Boogy & Jagged edge
if its cool for them to do that I dont see why it would be wrong for snoop
and on the east coast u got that Jadakiss/ Jessica simpson shit and everybody was cool with it
if Game was doing a song with Justin or Usher instead of New Edition y'all would be like "damn thats good for him he will blow this way"
-
another one 2pac and Madonna ...now what y'all gonna say bout that

I may be wrong here, but was that song ever released (2pac and Madonna)? And if it was, it wasn't on any Tupac album (at least any release that he authorized). I think there is a difference in being featured on someone elses album, and featuring someone on your album.
This shit is disgusting.
For me, it sucks when you hear news like "Britney Spears feat. Snoop Dogg". But at least that is for her album, not for his. Now snoop is featuring the poppiest of the pop on his album. He has totally abandoned his true fans. He did it on paid the boss, he did it on the 213 album, and now he's doing it on this album. FUCK SNOOP

I'd Rather Be Your Lover is released on a Madonna album, but 2Pac is uncredited.

Hmmm, this seems highly hypocritical of Snoop after that interview he gave to AllHipHop about the poor state of the West Coast and his plans to bring it back. This isn't the right way to go about it at all... I would be less irritated by this news if Snoop had never made such a song and dance about how people like Dre were neglecting the West's rap scene. I think the time for the Dogg to take a look in the mirror is WAY overdue!
There was a time where I didn't think I'd say this, but well I have to now - if anyone is going to bring the West Coast back with classic West Coast music its The Game. He got the Dre beats, the buzz, the record labels and the publicity. Plus, you can't deny that ''Westside Story'', ''Higher'', and ''How We Do (Fresh '83)'' are all heated. Nowadays it seems like Game is at the forefront of operation ''bring the West back'' (as he puts it himself) and Snoop has forgotten to play any part in this movement at all...
Can only hope that we see a much bigger West Coast influence, both guest and production wise, on ''R&G'' than what has been hinted at so far. Neptunes should NEVER have made that comment about bringing back ''Chronic era'' Snoop Dogg. That was just setting themselves up for a huge fall...

ive always said it that i aint gon hate on rap cats makin joints with pop cats for some different spins but on a snoop album..............thats the worst shit i heard in a long time........justin better go copy some mo micheal jackson shit instead of jumpin on snoops album
-

So much for that :(

co-signin with all the shit in this post. but did the neptunes really say that they was gonna bring it back to The Chronic era? shit the neptunes can´t do anything half as good as the shit that was on The Chronic and Doggustyle. if they really said that then they can suck a big fat one.
-
Well, this is gonna be wack.
If you are going to have people singing on your album at least pick people who have some soul or funkiness about them. Timberlake just sings in a pop voice with rnb production. Hopefully Charlie Wilson will drown him out.
-
^^that will happen, you can be sure of that... but i look forward to hear this song :)
-
JT And Snoop are Gangster
-
the only way snoop can be brought back to the chronic era is if dre produces most of his cd and it features tha dogg pound. for the neptunes to even say some shit like that is a slap in the face of real snoop dogg fans.

Kurupt & Natina Reed - It's Over Now
Dr.Dre & Toi Braxton - Just Be A Man Bout It

Surely Charlie Wilson and justin aren't on the same song! Do you need anyone else singing when you got Uncle Charlie??? What a joke.. Snoop don't give a damn about his true fans.. That's obvious now. He wants these fickle TRL fans that will vote his video to #1 and buy his album then forget about him once beyonce and justin timberlake drop their albums. I pray to GOD that they don't make it a single. Next thing you know their gonna do a video, justin will probably be g'd up wearing a rag, C -walkin.... Rhythm and Wanksta...
-

Yeah indeed but now he joined, I don't hope that they will take their beef with the backstreet boys to the STREETZ!!! 8)

Seems to me that your not a real true hip hop fan you just a wannabe. Stay true and just agree on the fact that snoop is fuckin up the game right now with his new cd.
