He has definitely changed the game when it comes to R&B. Since he came out, everybody jacks his style, but only he does it the best.

I haven't thought about whether or not I would consider him a genius, but he is probably the most talented 'new school' musician out there.  He's incredibly creative and his sense of melody is amazing.

word. i don't know how you could call this guy a genius. he's just a great singer and musician. but a genius? i dunno.....

I bought an R. Kelly album ("R. Kelly") about 6 months ago 'cause I kept hearing about this man's talent, but I never really checked for him. I only heard his singles (which are good), but never found a good enough reason to pay 20 € for it. Once I listened to that album, I kept playing it, over & over again. And it's one of my favorite albums that I have...I never thought that would happen.
During those months, I bought "R.", "TP-2" & "Chocolate Factory" and I play those albums quite a lot.

He is indeed one hell of a talented artist.
