well i actually went ahead and picked up Tony Hawk's THUG 2 today. It has 2 modes, classic and story mode - ie 2 games in one. So far, i started the story mode, and i've been impressed. I'm a big fan of the series though. I'd say that THUG 1 was my least favorite because it lacked replay value. But with the classic mode, its a throwback to the game that was one of my favorites. I figured it should last me at least a month, until Halo 2 drops. Peace

i really haven't felt any of the tony hawk games, i like games with stories

For PC I found out today... "Counter Strike : Source" looks really fucking dope althought CS is the best online action game ever anyways lol.. , I think it just has a few mods to it or something, looked sweet though.
Uh... Madden 2005 is dope, Red Dead Revolver. those have been out for a while.
I wouldn't really know what else to say.
Oh another one coming out I realllly want is midnight club 3: dub edition.. http://www.rockstargames.com/midnightclub3/

Counter-Strike: Source is the new version of Counter-Strike. It uses the Half-Life 2 engine, Source (so a major graphics overhaul, new models and everything, realistic physics... Haven't played it myself though, but I've heard it's real good). Right now the only legal way to get it is - to download the "Steam" client program from www.steampowered.com (it's made by the makers of Half-Life, it's basically a program to set up online matches for their games). After you got that, you have to purchase Half-Life 2 with the Steam program, using your credit card (yes, purchase - pay money). After the Counter Strike game has downloaded itself onto your system, you can play. Half-Life 2 is downloaded too, and you can play it as soon as it's made availible in stores - you just don't have to go to a store to buy a copy though, you already downloaded it & paid for it.
The other legal way is to wait for Half-Life 2 to be released and go pick up a copy. Counter-Strike: Source is the multiplayer mode for that.
When exaclty is Half-Life 2 released is a mystery though. The hype says the beginning of November, but there's been nothing official said.

Hehe... ;D
Literally minutes after my last post up there, Vivendi Universal games posted this press release: http://www.vugames.com/news_story.do?storyId=1963
So I shall correct myself: Half-Life 2 will be released on November 16th.
(Dare I say YAY! ;D 8))

The new Mortal Kombat looks really good.
Men of Valor (Vietnam FPS) looks decent.
Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders got really good reviews...if ur into that kind of game. Played the demo, thought it was alright...nothing special tho.
IDK man...probably a whole week before and after GTA and Halo 2 will be a "don't release zone"...
