Post by: GfUnKLBC on October 13, 2004, 02:12:31 PM
i need help connecting my computer to my camcorder.  i have a cannon zr90, and the usb connection is there, but it only works for still photos.  i need to be able to connect the camera to the computer to use in an editing program.  the computer is  a dell.  if anyone can help me, thanks.

no, the software that it came with only dealt with still photos for some reason.  the instruction manual says to get a "IEEE1394" wire, so i did, but there was no connection that could be made to the computer.  my friend said theres some other way to do this, but hes not all that sure.  if anyone can help, it would be appreciated

you likely need an "IEEE1394" card (aka "Firewire") for your computer.
