In my opinion (and no, I'm not shitting you) it was Daz's
"Nigga, I'll beat yo Ass"
What ever happened to that?
-
Any of the Conway Twitty albums can fall in that category. :)
-
I don't get it.
-
Nothing to get...he's a legend.
But you know no-one board would know this fact.
-
daz was actually contemplating that album title????/lollol but i rember the dogg pounds 2nd album was gonna be called DOGG SHIT
-
"All Eyez On Me"
not cuz its Pac, not cuz the album, thats just a good title
-
"Greatest Hits".
It's so good everybody use it.
-
i like the chronic, 2001, illmatic, ready to die,
if u think about it.. most of the classic cds have great names
-
the blueprint
-
in hiphop?
The Blueprint is indeed good
Illmatic is simple and great too
i also like
Movies For The Blind (Cage)
Things Fall Apart (along with the cover) (The Roots)
Soul On Ice (even tho it's bitten) (Ras)
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx (Raekwon)
those are some that came to mind. And some titles might not be actually great, but just fit the album perfectly, like "Bacdafucup" or "Hell On Earth", you couldn't title those albums more aptly
-
As far as Hip-Hop goes...
Public Enemy - Revolverlution. Damn fine album as well.
-
kuruption was a good title

Yeah, those are alright. I still like "Nigga I Beat Yo Ass" better, though. LOL
An album title needs to grab you, and be interesting. "The Blueprint" might describe the album pretty well, but it's not a very good title, I don't think, because it's just so fuckin' plain. "Movies for the Blind" is a good album title. That's creative. Maybe I should have put "Most creative album title ever"
Lemme think of another one...
"The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick"
"Mama Said Knock You Out"
"I Need a Haircut" = biz markie
"Efil4Zaggin" - NWA
"Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik"
"It's Dark and Hell Is Hot"
"Songs in the Key of Life"
"Here, My Dear" - Marvin Gaye's royalties from this album were to go to his ex-wife by court order. Genius. BTW, the album sucked.

yeah, those are good too. I think "The Blueprint" is actually not bad, it's kinda plain but at the same time it raises interest in how this album is to be considered a Blueprint...at least in my case it did
