After the 213 project seems to be on hold as Snoop's new record is dropping next month, Warren G let us know that he's currently in the lab working on a new solo album.
There is no additional information as of yet, but it is not the old "G-Filez: Case #213" album. We'll keep you updated!

I can't believe I have survived 4 years without some new Warren G shit. Damn, I am a tough motherfucker!!! That records needs to drop early next year. Let's hope it comes out May-June, so it can blow up in the summertime... what's better than some GDubb while you're cruisin between palm trees and under the hottest sun??
By the way, what's gonna happen with that G-Files thing? He had some tracks finished, maybe even the whole record. What's gonna happen with "What ya wanna do" with Natey or that joint with Raphael Saadiq? Or those tracks with Xzibit or Dr. Dre he announced? Or that track he was doing with Mef he talked about in his forum? My bet: a couple or three will end up in the new album and the rest will be forever unheard. My wish: already said it a couple of months ago, New Album + The G-files bonus EP.

yeh, true, but i am hopin we'll get it in march coz this a long ass wait, so then the album will be released for ya'll to bump when summer comes, and then hopefully warren'll release another solo album in november, ... lol im a bit keen ;D

If Warren's production will be as in the zone as it has been as of late and he drops verses like he did on 213....This will be fire. I'm looking forward to it.

this is great news.
shame that the g files e.p. looks to be scrapped - but im sure the best tracks of the recording sessions for that will end up on the album hopefully. Though a bonus e.p. would be nice. either way im buying this first day for sure.

I would love to know whats gonna happen to the dope ass tune "What You Wanna Do" with Nate and the bomb track with Krs-1 and lil r "Lets Go" cause they definately release worthy to say the least

the track with krs-1 was on the beef soundtrack
"we came here to ride" with rbx was on the true crimes streets of LA soundtrack, but they mixed up the name and called it "what you wanna do".
"what you wanna do" feat. nate dogg ,... thats wasnt on anything, but its now an old leaked track.
warren still got tracks that he recorded for the gfiles EP with dr dre, xzibit, snoop, raphael saadiq that havnt been leaked

this is great news...i don't get hyped for west coast shit like i used to but this'll be great...i thought warren's last album was a great turnaround after his lackluster i want it all disappointment...
i'd love some new nate as well...am i the only one who loved "music & me", wait ill make a poll about this...
anyway i hope for a couple warren and nate collabo's on warren's next shit, peace.
