Title: George Strait celebrates an AMAZING musical achievement
Post by: Trauma-san on October 24, 2004, 10:46:48 PM: So, George Strait is this big country singer (second picture below) who's been singing about 20 years now, and has an uncanny ability to pick out hit songs, record them, and get #1 singles from it. Well... about a year ago, a little more, he caught this amazing milestone, his 50th! #1 single. That's a record, nobody else comes close. This is on the country charts, though, not the pop charts. Anyways, 50 fucking number 1 singles, incredible. Get this.

He puts out an album last week, called "50 Number Ones" with ALL of the hits on it, a double CD. The first song on the album is a new song, called "I hate Everything".......... and this week, it went #1. So, he has an album, sitting on the top of the billboard charts right now, called "50 Number Ones", and all 51! Tracks on the album are #1 songs. Incredible.

I'm not sure if the A Little Less Conversation remix counts. If it does then he has 19.

I can't imagine anyone matching that, ever.
