and whats the deal with not listing it on kuruption? no credits nothin
-
my copy has a big sticker on the front advertising all the Dre tracks, including this one!
-
no, the videos not there
and seer, if you could post the back of your copy it would be cool, but mine has all the extra tracks, but it lists 10 songs on the west coast side, and 10 on the east coast side
Songs not listed:
We Can Freak It Remix
Another Day (who produced this?)
Ask Yourself A Question
strange that one of the singles on the album is not listed, wouldnt that hurt sales?
-
its cool so far, i need more time to digest it, thats a whole nother thread that ill make maybe tomorrow

Cool album...A lot more was expected of Kurupt when he first debuted, but I listen to it nowadays and appreciate it way more than when it first came out...The song "Ask Yourself A Quesion" is bangin' as well...One of the best on the album...PeACe
-
to me one of my fav albums ever...classic...just think if this dropped today...compared to all the garbage thats being released...every thread would be about it 8)
-
it wasn't listed because it was a bonus song added at the last minute.
-
classic...
???

yeah they added a few songs at the very last minute.
I think that was the first Dre beat of his 'new style'

What are the other Dre tracks on your version Seer?
I don't think the songs were added at the last minute - it was just made to look that way so they could use the 'breaking news' idea to tie in with the newspaper theme of the cover and inlay.

naw man. I got the album the day it was released. Dre only produced one song, and that is ask yourself a question. he did no other producing on here. Later on, after the album was out for awhile, dre did a remix to Ho's a Housewife, it was suppossed to be the next single. This is not the same version that was put on dre's chronic 2001 album, or streets is a mutha, it is slightly different. the tracklist was posted before the album dropped, and there was no mention of the extra tracks, and no mention of dre being on there. so I'm pretty sure the tracks were last minute editions after all the artwork was already done.

i'l; check my cover when i can... but i'm sure the story was dre did it last minute or something?
btw.. even the version of ho's a housewife and 2001 are slightly different.. Dre redid his vocal.. theres a lyirc thats dfferent too
-
btw i thought dre produced "another day" too?

that Ho's A Housewife which they recorded for Kuruption was actually the original, and the Ho's A Housewife Ft Hittman from Chronic 2001/Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha was the remix but they didnt list it as the remix on the dre & kurupt albums. They recorded both songs as the same time and released it as a single in 98, featuring both the og and remix with hittman. so that "remix" of Ho's A Housewife actually came out over a year before the 2001 album dropped

Kuruption is a dope ass album and for me also classic kurupt material. the three hidden tracks are bonus stuff added at the last minute, thats why the cds had this sticker on the front cover. On CD1 they added Another Day (feat. Gonzoe & Slip Capone) produced by ??? and Ask Yourself A Question (feat. Dr. Dre) produced by Dr. Dre. On CD2 they added the We Can Freak It (Out) East Coast Remix (feat. Noreaga) produced and remixed by Stevie J.
They are also Promo CDs floatin around of Ask Yourself A Question, with Hoe Is A Housewife RMX as B-Side Track.
