I just got wind of a rumour that Dr Dre has been working on a tribute cut for his final solo album Detox. The cut is said to feature artists he's worked with throughout his career. The rumoured list so far includes Snoop Dogg, MC Ren, Eminem & His latest protege Game along with veteran songstress Jewell (aka Ju-L).

when it comes to killin a dre beat.. cant nobody do it betta than kurupt, snoop,devin, rage,ren,doc when his voice was alive imo..those r the only 6 i enjoy listenin to over a dre beat..
i rather have those 6 than anything..4real

wasn't an Encore a tribute song? Eminem and 50 Cent both seem to spend a lot of time talking about how good Dre is

why would a man produce a tribute song to himself?
but seriously i think if anyone is gonna pay tribute to Dre, it needs to be Snoop first and foremost
i wouldn't mind seeing Cube MC Ren and The DOC on there, Warren G and Nate Dogg would be good. Maybe Eminem and 50 Cent.
