I chose option 5 too, so I think u chose the wrong one.

Last Meal, without any doubt. 8)
-
Yeah, ''Last Meal'' is in my opinion Snoop"s second best album of all time. If I had to list 'em, it would go like this:
1) ''Doggystyle'' (naturally)
2) ''Tha Last Meal''
3) ''No Limit Top Dogg''
4) ''Tha Doggfather''
5) ''R&G: Tha Masterpiece''
6) ''Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Bo$$''
7) ''Da Game Is To Be Sold, Not to Be Told''
Personally, I feel that anything after 5) is a waste of time, with ''R&G'' being only average in my eyes. I'm not a huge fan of ''Tha Doggfather'' either, but I still play it occasionally.

last meal doesnt even come close to doggfather. theres no doubt that dogystyle and dogffather are his two best...by a distance.

Last Meal...

That and '''Hennessey N Buddah'' were my favourite tracks off the album. The beat to ''Issues'' = :o. What I loved about ''Issues'' is that it was just Snoop spitting real lyrics (no BS) straight and with no pathetic chorus or bridge. He kept it short and most definately sweet. Back to the debate: ''Doggfather'' was a good album but in my opinion it did have some filler tracks. It and ''No Limit Top Dogg'', which also had some below average cuts, are just about tied in my books. ''Tha Last Meal'' is definately my second favourite Snoop album, and I think as long as he does an album with Dre involvement like ''Doggystyle'' and ''Last Meal'' it will go down well with me. I don't think many (if any) Snoop fans will deny that he is at his best when he works with the Doc.
Just writing that makes me wish even harder for a Snoop and Dre reunion. If Snoop isn't on ''Detox'' I will seriously give up all hope...

Damn, I actually think R & G is Snoops best effort since TopDogg. Both albums are similar IMO. I think R &G is a real dope album.
-
I must admit, I am playing ''R&G" more and more recently. I still think its little more than okay at the moment, but it might grow on me after a couple more spins...
-
Both ain't great albums, both got songs that are really great, both got songs, that really suck, both are for me average, R&G even a bit more.
-
i have this as a tie 4 3rd with doggfather there are some dope ass songs on this shit but the album woulda been alot better off with some tracks not on there (ie nelly track) and TOP DOGG IS FUCKIN UNDERATED AS HELL!!!!!
-
lmao. i just listened to doggystyle for the first time in 6 months or so....and i realised what a piece of crap R&G is. lmao

i dunno, i don't even wanna listen to R&G

R&G is below average to me. Snoop just sounds like an average rapper on every song except for that "pass it pass it" shit. The thing that makes anything Snoop does tite is his flow, regardless of his lyrics, and on most songs on here, his flow is just average. He flows strong as hell on some of his mixtape tracks, but on here he was just yappin shit. Maybe if I hear it a few more times I'll like it more, but it is a 5.5 or 6 outta 10 to me. It is nothing near Last Meal, nowhere close at all. This isn't close to Top Dogg either. It is a lot of average/cool tracks, but NOTHING that I loved and just wanted to hear over and over.

last meal! i don't even have to listen to r&g. features by ren, kurupt, rage, eastsidaz, suga free & production by dre, timbaland,& battlecat- last meal hands down.

Last Meal takes big giant shits on R&G. Hennessey and Buddah alone is better than the whole R&G album, not to mention Big Idea, Loosen Control, Lay Low, Set it Off, Bring it On, Stacey Adams... etc. No comparison.
