i've had this album for about two weeks and i still don't know what think about it. i really dig necro. i am a fan of a lot of death metal, but am not to sure about the meshing of necro and metal, especially when his lisp comes into play, so i was wondering what others think of the new necro CD. ???

I feel ya....I've had the album for weeks now and really don't know what to think of it. I don't mind the mixing of metal and rap, but I think he could have done better on the overalll production of the album. I liked the production on Gory Days a lot better. Still a good CD, but it seems to be lacking something...

His beats are OK.
Give me Alchemist or Muggs over Necro anyday when it comes to that dark shit.

Alchemist > Necro > Muggs, but that's just my opinion and they're all good

:o :o :o :o
I think I almost fainted when I seen that. The mastermind behind Temples of Boom, Black Sunday and Cypress Hill? Behind Necro? Wow. To each is own...But WOW!

i knew you would be shocked lol. But lemme explain. It is not Necro > Muggs in terms of skills, it is just my personal taste...but thinking about it it might even be Alchemist > Necro = Muggs, it's really hard to compare. Alchemist is really an alltime fav of mine and so is Havoc, because i just love that dark QB style (i know Alchemist ain't QB, but his beats are kinda). Muggs has done more important work than Necro and i won't argue with anybody saying he's better, but to me personally many Necro beats (Agent Orange e.g.) just appeal at least as much as Muggs' stuff does...i might have to exclude Cypress Hill and III tho (never been such a big fan of Black Sunday), but probably then it is indeed post-94 Muggs < Necro for me personally...peace
