I took my chick to see this shit last night and to me it was fucking horrible. Did anyone else see this shit and if so did you like it?

Well, if you expected to see a serious movie, you're a moron...These type of movies are for fans of the franchise...If you saw the preview, you'd know what to expect. ::)

how good did you find it?

well i thought the first couple were good, but bride of chucky took a horrible turn of shitness, peace.

Well, obviously after 3 sequels the movies tend to become a little less serious and a little more campy...In my opinion, "Bride of Chucky" took a smart turn...Look at how many horror movies go DTV after the second sequel...Why? Because they get tired and repeat the same things over and over in every installment...The "Child's Play" franchise stayed true to the fans and the series, yet took a leap toward comedy...Now that they're headed in another direction, it's easy to see that "Bride of Chucky" and "Seed of Chucky" are about the same...For a 5th installment of a horror movie making it to theaters; that's huge...This is the type of movie you can enjoy watching without using your brain too much...Nothing amazing, yet pretty entertaining...PeACe

Well, all 10 "Friday the 13ths", 8 "Halloweens", and 7 "Nightmare on Elm Streets" made it to theatres...But those are the big 3 in horror. Most other franchises in the horror genre had DTV movies after the first few sequels..."Hellraiser", "Leprechaun", "Wishmaster", Puppet Masters", "Candyman", "Phantasm", etc...Sequels to horror movies don't usually play well in theatres, especially once they pass 3...I didn't think "Bride of Chucky" was an EXCELLENT film, but I do believe that it was entertaining...I loved the cliches and I think Ronny Yu did a wonderful job directing...The storyline was kinda' cheesy, but hey, it's a fucking killer doll...It's just the type of movie where you leave your brain at home...PeACe
