i think the whole world's rotten was the last album as a group..kuz they kept promotion 4 that in murder dog and rap pages when that was still goin..and after that nuthin else..last time i saw them dudes was in the rap page issue wit dj quik on the cover with his beautician( i think ..she was a big thick dark-skinned chick wit some curling iron's behind him) and his sister and his wife was on the cover with him..

and didnt dfc stand for.. " dope flint connection" instead of "da funk band"..lol

But I Got Anotha Question..
Group`s Name Wuz/Iz DA Funk Crew So Why Do They Name Their Album "Things In THA Hood"?
Whut`z Up Wit`Dat Da An`THA Shit?(I Did A Thread About It But Still..If It`s Bout Regions Then Why Do They Use (South-Cats)DA And THA At Tha Same Tyme On The Same Album?

But on the intro to "Things in tha hood" Bushwick Bill says, "I'm chillin' with Da Funk Clan right...."

mc breed also said the dope flint connection is comin soon...on 1 of his albums..and they had like 3 or 4 meanings 4 dfc..they had sumthin about the meanin in the overview over at allmusic.com..i jus got thru readin that go peep it aint much but they got a lil bit of info on them cats..

and why they use da and tha..i think  it is all about the regions.. da is used alot in the south..and dfc and breed stayed in dallas 4 a pretty good piece....breed especially..he got alot of ties dallas..him and greg street are reaaaaaaaallll tight...so that could be why....

Yeah, that explains why D.O.C. was involved in some of those projects as well.  Especially Breed's album that has Guerilla Pimpin' on it.

They started out as Dope Flint Connection, then changed to Da Flint Crew and Da Funk Crew, they dropped their last album in '97 called Whole World Rotten but ain't been heard from since.

there were several dope songs on that lp.....things in the hood and pass the hooter were both produced by warren g
but the remix to things in the hood is way tighter but its hard to find....digga biiga ditch was produced and co written by D.O.C and mo love was tight as fuck but I forgot who produced it...(possibly warren G) andcaps get peeled was so tight and was produced by slip and chill....

imo that whole things in tha hood albums was flawless.....every song on it was tight...u wouldnt think they was from michigan..if u heard it now...it didnt sound like nuthin out of michigan...dfc and breed always stood out in their state..these niggas got as much g-funk in them as warren does...

they really need to re-release this album..all the stuff breed has re-released this should be considered....or get warren g to revive these niggas career's again..

It's been rumored that MC Breed may hook up with Psychopathic Records (ICP's label).  Breed's new album in thru their distributor, which they sell on ICP's website.  Plus he's appeared on several ICP projects recently.  There might be some truth to the rumor.

Warren G also produced 'Hand On My Nine' - he didn't do 'Mo Love', can't think who did off the top of my head. There was also a remix of 'Digga Bigga Ditch' that was much doper than the OG - all jazzy piano and walking bass.

Like the homie said, their album was pretty much flawless.
