VENTURA, Calif. -- The green leafy stuff with the pizzas wasn't oregano. At least according to authorities in Southern California.

Ventura County Sheriff's deputies busted pizza deliverymen Jerry Moore and Daryl Rummens for allegedly serving up a little something extra. Deputies charged the pair with selling baggies of pot along with the pizzas.

Investigators said the arrest of the deliverymen and another man netted about three-quarters of a pound of marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash.

Police said an anonymous tipster told them the men were dealing pot and pills to kids at a local middle school

that's weak, an acquaintance of mine that owns a pizzeria just got himself and 47 other people busted for a cocaine ring that ran through out here and Canada

Dealing weed on the side while delivering pizzas has got to be the best business idea I've ever come across. You call & order a pizza, guy brings it to your house, you get the pizza & a sack of weed from the guy, blaze up, get high, and when you get the munchies - there's pizza! :D

except that you'll have to warm it up again by the time the munchies kick in, it is indeed pretty dope :D

I wanted to order a slice of pepperoni a couple of days ago, but it turned out I wasn't talking to a pizza place :(
