The G-Child Warren G let me know some news about his upcoming, still untitled, solo album. But from what he's saying, this record is going to be very musical, very instrumental, very bass heavy. "Let the game unfold, G-Funk Classic Part Two!", he says.
"I'm on my own again, it's back to the G-Funk era!"
He's said to be hooking back up with The Twinz on some music, and he's recently been in the studio with the 5 Footaz. After a dissapointing 213, Warren is trying to come back hard with his solo, and don't hold your breath for Nate to be on there. (Yes, Warren and Nate are COOL, to quiet all the "beef" rumours I can see cookin' up from that comment!)
The record is still in the beginning stages though, so ain't no tellin' what will happen and who will be on there. The G-Child is just working in the studio right now, trying to put it down, so we can get some new G-Funk Flava next summer!
Stay tuned right here for the newest concerning Warren G as always, big shoutout to him!

At least I have something decent to look forward to this summer. Great news.
-
New Warren G shit? Oh hell yeah! 8) I'll keep my fingers crossed for this one to come out. Been patiently waiting for a new Warren LP for quite a while now.
-
I think I wet my pants.
Nate's gonna be on it fo sho. Nice to see the Twinz back on board. And tha Five Footaz too. Don't think Grimm will be on it tho. Hope he can reach Malik for a track so that's GFunk era 2005...and forever...deeez nuts!! LOL!

Godamn nate dogg is the smoothest mothafucka out there 8)

Let's hope Warren G brings that vintage G-funk sound that he had on Regulator. It's good that Tha Twinz and 5 footaz will be on the album but i like to see Mista Grimm, Nate Dogg, Dove Shack, Malik, Technique, Lil half dead on the album to. I be waiting for it to drop next summer.
-
I'll be satisfied with another album like "return of the regulator". That was a 4.5 star album for me. I want it all was about 4.25
-
A G-Dub album without Nate Dogg? Can't have that...
Anyway, real musical sounds pretty tight... its a large part of his appeal, and glad to see he's not going for totally commercial on this one.
-
"record is going to be very musical, very instrumental"
does this mean it's gonna have a lot of live instrumentation? :D
-
How can there be another G-Funk Era without a duet with Nate Dogg???????
What about the Dove Shack? They dropped some good shit on Regulate.
BTW, I was gonna post this in a new thread, but since we are on the subject...anyone got that Warren G track from that terrible, yet undeniable classic Good Burger? I've been searchin high and low for that and I doubt the soundtrack is availabe anywhere.

Will Warren G give new artists a chance to shine on his LP? Like for example... how big is the chance he'll give me a call?

:boohoo:

LMAO
-
cool, cant wait

Dope news, Warren always comes with dope albums. One of the few from the original G Funk explosion that I actually bother to check for these days.
-
You guys are the shit! :D
One question though...what is the hook up spot? I have been on this site for about a year and I still have no idea what it is.
-
G dub always reps the LBC to that fullest. This is going to be a definite banger
-
This is fuckin crazy. I just blazed up and was bumpin regulate g funk era, thinkin god damn this was some incredible music. Music today doesn't touch that shit. This shit will be nice GUARANTEED.
-
Nah im hoping that woz meant to say no snoop dogg not no nate dogg. snoop wud fuck it up like everythin he has done lately
-

what the fuck yall excited
-
yeh it would be dope if nate is on the album, but if he aint, its not a huge letdown. i'm just glad that warren releasin another solo album. i think this is somethin warren needs to do on his own to proove that he can make hot shit on his own, and not rely on nate or snoop. plus there's plenty of other dope artists from the family that he can work with like lil 1/2 dead, lil c-style, goldie loc, and maybe he can get some unreleased verses from e-white and tray deee since they in jail. plus he already hookin back up with the twinz and the 5footaz, which is dope as fuck.
