In my opinion ''murder was the case'' is the greatest westcoast soundtrack of al time.
I mean there a some classic cuts on that disc, I mean what would you do, dollar&sense, natural born killaz, come up to my room etc
This is a straight classic right here
Let me know your favorite westcoast soundtrack of al time

Gang Related is nice but Murder was the case is on another level.

Yeah definitely. Above the Rim is up there too.

Yeah definitely. Above the Rim is up there too.
Definitely a classic soundtrack!!Above the Rim another Deathrow banger.
The early Deathrow provided us with the best westcoast gangsta shit ever.

a lot of material by artist I like workin together: Crooked I & Eastwood. Plus Kurupt, Left Eye, Danny Boy, Juvenile, Ja Rule, etc.
-
yea I copped Dysfunktional Family, but tha best?......Murder Was The Case. Easily.
-
Friday & Murder Was The Case both 5/5 albums IMO
-
murder was the case is definitely the best west coast soundtrack
-
damn how could you like dysfunktional family over all these other great ost's? especially MWTC and Friday.
anyone ever listen to the Juice ost? thats a pretty dope one imo for a good old soundtrack.
I really liked judgement Night, if anyone ever heard that. it was like rock/metal with rappers. cypress hill, del, onyx, and more that I can't remember on that one. I sure wish I still had it, but someone stole it from me, and I can't find it for download. but if anyone has this, hook a brotha up, I sure I can help you with something.
a thin line between love and hate was a decent one. I sold my copy, but sure wish I had it now. again if anybody has this, I sure would like a copy for download, more importantly the song "Ring my Bell" by the Luniz. Also on this one we saw the introduction of LBC Crew with Beware of my crew. and it also had Soopafly's song, I Don't Hang, which imo to date is soopafly's best song ever. If memory serves correct, this is the first time we heard soopafly rap. ost also had dru down on it, and a couple other good songs.
I also remember likeing the original bad boys ost a lot back in the day. again, my mom threw this one out, when I moved out of the house, so if anyone got a copy, well you know the drill. It has the clean rmx of warren g's so many ways, has a dope biggie/da brat song. Ini Kamoze, if anyone remembers him, had that dope song called, here come the Hotstepper. I got his album, makes me wanna bust it out for old memories. it had a dope weed smoking song on it, by some group or guy called Cloud 9 or some shit.
Oh and how could I forgot, the incredible The Show ost. man that shit completely shits on dysfunktional family, gridloc'd, the wash, bones, and maybe gang related. infact this is my 3rd fav ost apart from mwtc and friday. this shit is classic. 2pac - my bloc, bone thugs - everyday thang, domino - dominoe's in the house tonight, tray deee and so. sentrall - droppin bombs, method man and redman - how high, shit and other shit I just can't remember right now. warren g, twinz, dove shack - forget the name, dove shack - summertime in the lbc. man, jayo is on there, biggie, suga T, treach I think, scc maybe? too lazy to go check my booklet. but anyone who ain't heard this, shame on you, you should smack yourself.
Ahh good ole westcoast rap memories of my younga dayz. Hows that for sum westcoast sheeeit upside ya head!

I like The Wash
Training Day was good too
I guess MWTC will always be the best.. gangsta rap wise
-
'Murder was the case' wuz the best by far
but i also enjoy DysFunktional Family ost, Friday , The Wash, Above the Rim and Training Day
i keep all these soundtracks in my car!!!!!
-
Murder was the case.
That Soundtrack was classic. 8)
-
Menace 2 Society was the first one that popped into my head.
-
murder was the case shouldn't even be considered a soundtrack. it's a 'soundtrack' to a 'movie' that's a whole 8 minutes long, 7 of which is taken up by the title song and the other 1 minute is just the credits.
my vote goes to 'above the rim' and maybe 'the show'
how did i forget 'menace ii society'?

This is true and it was a smart move from deathrow to put it out like a soundtrack.
I own the DVD not only because of the ''extended'' musicvideo of mwtc it also has some dope interviews and live performances.
-
8) Friday, Friday afta nxt was good too, i don't have murder was the case but i'm sure that's raw..also Juice had some good tracks
-
Yeah, the Juice sdtrk was raw. Anyone remember the Streetfighter sdtrk? It had that cut with Ras Kass, Ahmad and Saafir that was tight and a Nas track.
-
Uhhh dat No Limit, West Coast Bad Boyz Soundtrack was Bout It Bout It!! ya Heard!
-
^^^ that wasn't a soundtrack
but I got the hook up was pretty dope
-
MWTC no doubt even its not a "real" sdtk. more a compilation. i also enjoyed that above the rim and gang related sdtk which i would say its the best deside MWTC.
