LOS ANGELES -- Dodger general manager Paul DePodesta signed free agent second baseman Jeff Kent to a two-year deal worth an estimated $17 million on Thursday.

As a Giants fan i never liked the idea of the team letting Jeff Kent go two years ago that's why Bonds just spends a lot of time getting the four finger salute nowadays. Great addition for the Dodgers and a homecoming for a local boy. Just be careful, Jeff has a history of getting "hurt" washing his car or riding his bike. ;D

Yeah that's a pretty solid pick up for the dodgers, although he's gettin along there in years..

good move b/c it looks like beltre may not come back.  Now if you guys can re-sign beltre an perez an make the trade for hudson, you guys are fuckin scary next season.
