20th Century Fox has hired Snoop Dogg to star in the real-life story of him coaching his son's youth league football team.
It will follow Snoop's story of coaching the Rowland Heights Raiders, a team of 8- to 10-year-old boys in the Orange County Junior All-American Football League. The team, with Snoop Dogg's son at quarterback, finished its recent season winning the league championship with a 13-0 record.
The movie is being scripted by Mark Gibson and Philip Halprin and will be an inspirational comedy focused on an overworked hip-hop star who dedicates himself to coaching his son's team
