i watched a reply of the most recent nwa/tna payperview and they were wearing some disco inferno looking shit...wtf up with them now, nash looks horrible with his old man haircut and they both have gotten fat, that's the first time i've seen them in at least a year and i was shocked, peace.
-
Iīm a wrestling fan for 14 years now.. I havenīt seen a wrestling show for a couple of years now because where Iīm from they donīt show it anymore... but still every day I read news about TNA and WWE but I never bothered to really check out pictures from TNA... -- till now... I went to their homepage... there is a gallery from their latest PPV called Turning Point...
seen here: http://www.nwatna.com/multimedia/live/2004/12/05/gal2/gallery.html
...you donīt get to see too much pictures of Hall & Nash .. and I also really canīt see that they have gotten extremely fat... but wtf is wrong with their costumes and Nashīs hair cut... Nash reminds me of his Wizard of Oz character from his early WCW days.. lol ... either Dusty Rhodes or whoever booked that shit and came up with that idea to make that team the Disco Inferno squad (or whatever they call them) needs to put down the crack.. funny thing at the same time is that Nash was never known as a team player... always wanted to be on top and wanted to look good.. so obviously this time he either has no ally in the booking commitee or just gave up on being in the main event... which is also a good thing... that was the exact problem that destroyed WCW... they never bothered to make new stars and relied on the drawing power of the oldies.. which of course decreased...
..and I feel bad for Scott Hall...
ps: on a side note.. if you bother to look at the pictures.. take a look at Randy Savage.. somehow he reminds me of some sort of stalker who lives in the forrest with that beard... funny thing about him is that he just acts like the diva he is... he just noshows certain events and demands special things and special treatment backstage.. like that Jimmy Hart isnīt allowed around him... craaazy...
-
Damn that's sad. They went from the two baddest dudes in the industry to looking like really bad Elvis inpersonators. Nash needs to go to the local grocery store and pick up some Just For Men die for his hair. And what the hell was Randy Savage doing there. Last I heard from him he made a rap album LOL.
-
... on that album he tried to bash Hogan... like many other times when he tried to do that.. so as far as I know there were always talks about Hogan ending up in TNA... although Hogan only used those talks with TNA to send a message to Vince McMahon.. cause allegedly Vince never wanted Hogan to be in TNA cause incase Vince wanted Hogan back for Wrestlemania it would make the WWE look bad.. however... so either Savage is in TNA because he thought that Hogan would end up there so they could settle the score once and for all, DIG IT BROTHER! lol or he just needs money... who knows...
-
lol savage looks so old and rediculous, and it's not really nash that looks fat it's hall that looks fatter but it doesn't matter cause they both look rediculous, peace.
-
And what the hell was Randy Savage doing there. Last I heard from him he made a rap album LOL.

Yall are so out of touch with what's going on in wrestling right now, it isn't even funny.
First, they're wearing the suits as a gimmick, it's a joke. The thing you have to acknowledge with Hall, Nash, and for that matter Jarrett, is they do what they want. Hall & Nash are content to just stay home and never wrestle again, they've made plenty of money... so the only reason they're in the NWA is because Jarrett (who owns the company) gave them free reign and lets them do whatever rediculous thing they want to do. That's their whole gimmick, they are part of the Kliq, and basically get away with whatever they want. They're calling themselves the "Kings Of Wrestling", and before the ppv, they cut a rediculous promo of them dressed up like Elvis, making fun of the guys they were going to wrestle. It's meant to be over the top and rediculous, so of course they look like idiots in the Elvis Jumpsuits. That's the whole point. The whole point of the gimmick is "I could beat your ass dressed in an Elvis Jumpsuit". "You think you're over; I'd be over in an Elvis jumpsuit." LOL It's hilarious, if you ask me.
Also, the thing with Savage was, he's been wanting to wrestle for a while, but didn't have a decent offer from anybody. TNA brought him in for the star appeal, but Savage bumped into Hogan, who was visiting backstage, and Hogan asked Savage outside... Savage turned him down, so Hogan said "O.K., lets just drop it then, and let by gones be by gones" and Savage said "Fuck you" and left. He quit TNA a month ago... they talked him into returning for the PPV, but then quit last week after Jarrett wouldn't drop the belt to him at the next ppv.
By the way, Hall may be fat and out of shape, but he still wrestles better than even some of the better TNA guys, and he's well into his 40's. One of the greatest wrestlers to ever live, in my opinion.
-
Oh, and Randy Savage a "bitch"? Are you crazy? He's in his 50's, what do you expect? He gave you a lifetime of entertainment, now you're calling him a bitch because he isn't the man he was in his 20's? You're the fucking bitch for that.
-
Trauma please donīt get me wrong..I donīt call him a bitch because of his physical status or age or something.. . I referred to Savage as a bitch because I just canīt stand a person demanding unrealistic things... like when he demanded that Jimmy Hart had to disappear from the backstage area while he ( Savage) was there... Savage is a legend and gave me many memorable moments, there is absolutly no doubt about that, but thats just not right... despite his success in the biz he is nothing better than Bastian Booger.. and he should behave that way... especially in his present role...
Iīm not too sure about that Hogan-Savage thing you are talking about.. I read about the story and it was told a bit different.. but then again every wrestling site has different opions and different interpretations about stories.. (that means if you read it on wrestling sites) .. anyway...
edit: youīre right about the Savage-Hogan stuff... i didnīt read it properly... sorry for that...

what channel station is this on?

He wrestled in his trunks last week... had about an extra 20 pounds on him. The last 2-3 years in WCW, he did the same thing. He never got quite this heavy, but probably within 10 pounds or so. He'd dissapear for a while, come back heavy, and be back in excellent shape in about 3 weeks. So I would look for him to drop some weight quick.
Plus, you have to analyze his wrestling, not his weight. He wrestled as good as he ever has, so what's the weight matter?
-
scotts hall's career is a damn shame... He defo has his place in wrestling history. But if he was able to defeat his personal demons he would of went down as a legend. He had great in ring skill and charisma.
-
Pics of Hall, sans shirt, from 2 weeks ago. He's fat, but not crazy fat. I'd say he's about 20 pounds overweight, he'd be in great shape if he lost that.

He could lose that with a little hard work and diet change. It's not like he's Yokozuna or anything.

Randy Savage has lost his mind. He carries around a knife because he's afraid that Hulk Hogan is going to attack him. He's walked out of TNA 2 times in the last 2 months. Once because he thought Hogan was waiting for him the parking lot, so Savage walked out sayingTNA couldn't ensure his saftey. He came back after TNA agreed with Savage's request for Jimmy Hart not to be anywhere near Savage because Hart is Hogan's best friend and Savage doesn't want to be around any of Hogan's friends. Then Savage walked out a second because he wasn't going to beat Jeff Jarett for the title at the next PPV.
Savage is a bitch, he's not even is his 50's, and he's pretty close to losing his mind if he hasn't already.

I know English is your second language, but while you were just ranting to me all the things Savage has done, maybe you should have just read above where I said the same exact things. I already KNEW that.
-
Both Scott Hall and Jake Roberts are two of my favorite wrestlers of all time, and both will go down as two great talents that's own personal demons prevented them from becoming the best they could. By all means, both should have had world title runs, but they personal demons prevented them from being trusted with the belt. Both ran the mid cards of their day, both were the best at ring psychology, and if both were given the time to get into shape, both can put on a great match still. But those demons have prevented them from being the best they could be. The sad part about both is the part we all love both about them. Both Jake Roberts and Scott Hall come off as real human, and it's easy to like them because you can just sense their human side. All of us make mistakes, and it's easy for us to root for people that reflect us. In the end, they'll both be seen as missed potential, but the part that we like about them is the part that drew us to them in the first place. Personally, I wish Scott Hall the best, I still wish to see him one more time in a WWE ring, and wish him the best of luck in the future.

Your must be really Dumb. How is english a second language for a person like me who's background is British and American, plus I live in Ontario and haven't spoken any other languages expecpt english since grade 9? You are a moron.

Scott Hall is 46, Kevin Nash is 45 and Randy Savage is 52 years old.
Yes the above mentioned have made a mark in the wrestling business especially Randy Savage but to say they are financially secure is not true. After all, They need the money to survive and pay the rent, bills, car payments just like the rest of us 9 to 5'ers.
Why else would they still wrestle way into their 40's or early 50's....and don't say it's for the love of the business.
Kevin Nash agreed to leave the WWE after his contract expired because he thought he could still wrestle and contribute...
but they thought with him being often injured, his age, and his lack of desire to get in physical shape despite getting paid well led to his departure.
As for Scott Hall, His drinking and problems with his ex wife, custody of his kids, physical shape led the WWE to let him go.
Now you could see why just by looking at the pictures from the TNA website.
For those who have been living under a rock Kevin Nash appeared in the summer blockbuster "The Punisher" where he plays The Russian. Check out www.kevinnash.net
You can also check out Kevin Nash along with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Goldberg, and Diamond Dallas Page in Adam Sandler/Chris Rock comedy movie "The Longest Yard".
Best website for wrestling news on the internet.....www.wrestlezone.com
The Rock will appear in Be Cool, the sequel to Get Shorty starring John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Andre 3000
Ric Flair is 54 and still going strong because to "To Be The Man...You got to beat The Man"

No one that ever main evented in WCW for more than 3 years will ever have to work again, unless they completely blew all their money. Hall and Nash were making upwards of 2 million dollars a year for 3 to 4 years. Booker T has stated he could retire tommorow and never even think about money again. Booker never drew as much as Hall and Nash did and he's financially stable. I can't imagine Hall and Nash "needing" the money. Some people just like having fun. Look at Hogan, he likes coming back every couple years, because he likes the spotlight. Hogan could have retired in '89 and never have had to think about money again but he comes back because he has fun.
-
Exactly, these oldtimers aren't wrestling because they need the money, they're wrestling because it's what they are. To some of them, it's their only purpose in life, look @ HHH. He has all the money he'll ever need, PLUS, he's married to a billionaire's daughter. He still wrestles everyday, though, because it's all he has. Hall & Nash are nobody outside of wrestling, and their family lives have been well documented as problematic... so the best thing in the world, to them, is being on television entertaining people.

That's true to a certain extent. You have guys like Randy Savage demanding $15,000 for one PPV match for TNA and cutting a rap album just to make a quick buck. You have guys like Buff Bagwell, The Steiners, and The Tonga Kid wrestling in High School Gyms.
Case in point, The documentary "Beyond The Mat" which shows Jake "The Snake" Roberts wrestling in a Barnyard of all places.
-
im happy for hall if he really is wrestling in top notch quality (i dont get to watch tna so i wouldnt know)
but i said based off of STRICTLY appearances, you'd think he'd be washed up. i didnt mean that as an insult to him, hes not even THAT fat, he just looks washed up. it looks like hes been retired for 15 years
-
BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL NWO... I loved wrestling then... WRESTLING sucks now... except for the DIVAS ::)
