Title: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Post by: Doggystylin on December 13, 2004, 08:37:59 PM: Just saw this today and I don't know. It was pretty weird but I liked it. Steve is a funny character, He smokes joints,and has a glock strapped to his thigh at all times and has a three legged dog named cody that he gets from these filipino pirates, lol. Oh yeah and theres this guy named Pele, thats part of his crew and all he does is sit there and perform portuguese versions of David Bowie songs,lmao. At time though, It kinda was like whoa where are you going with this film, but whatever, I guess it was worth it. It was kinda too much at the end though. If it had been cut short a little and had a better ending it would have been a lot better. Bill Murray makes up for all of that though, hes just too damn cool, lol. And the albino dolphins are funny as fuck, lol

BTW I want to mention some funny parts but I don't want to ruin it for you all yet. I'll wait til some of you have seen it. and I'm guessing most of you haven't seen it yet cause right now its only out in LA and NY

fuckin awesome movie same guy who directed "Rushmore" my favorite line throughout the whole film has got to be "I'm not good with apologies so I'd rather just skip it....anyway I'm sorry." and "Looks like we both had her and lost her Steve even though I have a reason, I'm part gay" Jeff Goldblums character was funny as fuck too

This flick seems like something right up my alley. Seen a couple of clips on Conan and some other show. I'm definately seeing it when it comes around here. (Which might actually be a while or two... But still.)
