THE LONG AWAITED "CHRONIC 2" ISN'T 2 FAR AWAY NOW WITH IT'S EXPECTED DECEMBER RELEASE. DRE'S PLANIN' TO KEEP THE LANGUAGE ON THIS JOINT STRICTLY TO A PG LEVEL, MAKING IT KINDA UNIQUE FOR HIM AN THA WHOLE RAP INDUSTRY. I GOT NO PROBLEM WIT' THIS IDEA BUT I THINK IT'LL MAKE COMPETITION WITH THE FIRST CHRONIC A WHOLE LOT TOUGHER. THIS ALBUM HAS BEEN A VERY LONG TIME IN THE MAKING NOW. IT SEEMS THAT THERE'S BEEN MORE THAN ENOUGH MATERIAL TO FILL IT FO' A LONG TIME, BUT DRE DIDN'T WANNA DROP IT TILL HE FELT HE HAD THA RECIPE JUST RIGHT. IF DRE AN SNOOP CAN HIT THE BEATS LIKE BEFORE, WE ALL IN FOR A TREAT. LET'S HOPE IT GOES DOWN LIKE THAT!
Keep it to a PG level? hahahahah, I guess its safe to say dre scrapped that idea. and expected dec 98 release? hahha more like almost a year later. that album got delayed so much.

"Been There Done That" was PG.
I remember this news from back in the day. There were a lot of wild rumors ciculating about the project. I remember in late 1998 they said on MTV that Dre had just left the studio with Snoop Dogg, and that they were putting together a couple of tracks for the Chronic 2 album, that would feature some artist named "Punch" or "Crush" and a few other names I've never heard since.
