San Francisco 49'ers owner John York fired head coach Dennis Erickson and GM Terry Donahue after dismal 2-14 season.
One of the greatest sports franchise in history has hit rock bottom. Here's a toast to the good old days when legends like
Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, and Ronnie Lott roamed the football stadiums across the country.

I feel ya homie...But it had to happen sooner or later. Not many teams can say they have been a constant contender for 20+ years. I miss Steve Young :'(

It's funny how many people are talking smack about the 49'ers when from 1981-1994 we won 5 Super Bowls and owned the NFL.
The team has been alright since Steve Young retired but ever since they got rid of Steve Mariucci and then players like Jeff Garicia and Terrell Owens that showed right there that the ownership don't care about winning. Now they say they would spend whatever and do whatever it takes to bring the team back to respectability. Stay Tuned.....
p.s.,
As long as the Raiders suck just as bad as we do i'm alright ;D

I hope so. Here's hoping that Green Bay beat Minnesota and Randy Moss's "i quit" attitude this weekend.

It'll probably take about 2-3 years for them to get back to the playoffs
