I just saw Spike TV n they had this special on Ricky williams n they were pretty much bad mouthing him pretty bad.. they had sum 3rd string quarterback that i dont even know dissin him n sayin hes a sellout but lets be real the brotha has already made millions he just wants to kick back n smoke pot so i say leave the man be whats ur guys opinion on this?

after watching it..and seeing how shy this dude is...i dont blame him for leaving the NFL...

who saw the 60 minutes interview? shit was classic. anyways i liked when he said "when is a good time to quit? when i blow out my knee?" or something of that sort.

LOL..thats true though

I think Favre said "You get paid for practise and preperation. If you can't play for free on sunday, it's time for you to quit" or somthing like that.

i agree with him 100%, WHEN is a good time to retire, why is if u go into a professional sport, our end is either retiring when ur in terrible shape, or just leaving cause u suck and nobody wants you... playing football is a huge physical strain on a human body, so why should he have to beat himself up, if hes not doing it for fun, and hes already got money...

The problem with Ricky is the way that he went about it.  Most NFL players will agree and say that he screwed his teamates.

I suppose that many people look at it that way, but, if I were his teammate, I'd appreciate the fact that he was honest instead of playing half ass and not giving his all every play.  Now, don't get me wrong, I'd be pissed at first, who wouldn't?  But, after a while, what he did and how he did it would make sense to me.
