Title: Knoc-Turn'Al Signs New Deal
Post by: Darksider on January 07, 2005, 10:54:38 PM
The Multi-Platinum Knoc-Turn'Al signs with Sonic Wave International. Formerly on Elektra / L.A. Confidential, hit rapper and writer Knoc-Turn'Al has made the move to the acclaimed label Sonic Wave International. Knoc's new CD "Return of the Hustler" will be the follow up to his hit "The Way I Am" which featured Snoop Dogg.
"KNOC-TURN'AL's first taste of the rap game was on Dr. Dre's multi-platinum album the Chronic 2001 where he was featured on four songs. He then wrote three songs for The Wash movie soundtrack, the Training Day soundtrack, and then released his self-titled EP in summer of 2002. Knoc's last effort included the hit single, album & video to "The Way I Am" starring Snoop Dogg. Be on the look out for
KNOC-TURN'AL's newest album set to hit stores early 2005!"

well technically it's not lying, they put multiplatinum because of the Chronic 2001. Guest artists on a certified album get the certification too, for their appearances.. for ex. on soundttracks and shit.

or for ex. goldie loc has a platinum plaque for appearing on Xzibit's Restless.

Nah, it's true. I don't know if ALL guest artists get their plaque regardless of their input, but when you collaborate on a multi-platinum album you get your recognition. I think it's fair.

Anyobody knows what's up with L.A Confidential? Time-Bomb & Slip Capone? Is Knoc the only one to ever release something there?
