2 terrible singles too. Mosh was aight, but not a single that pushes units.

I said from the beginning that no matter how bad the Em album is he'll get a free pass due to rub off sales. His last two albums hit around 9 million copies each, and they were critical successes. He built a rep on making solid albums. So the current audience will give the new album a shot regardless of first impressions. Of course then there are those that genuinely like the songs. Keep in mind that the audience that buy it and the audience that the songs are targetted to isn't you or other hard core fans. Did you like Vanilla Ice in '91? or Hammer in '90? or Will Smith in '98? As bad as Encore is, it's not any worse than To The Extreme, Please Hammer Don't Hurt Em, or Willenium.
