So what is everybody's opinion?
cus i know everybody was really anticipating this album and now it came it, it's like nobody noticed.
also saleswise it kinda flopped.
i think its very good.
it belongs to my top 20 albums of 2004
-posted in wrong forum, sorry..-

i liked it anyways, not really anythin too special tho. Bumped Restless alot more, and even Man Vs Machine. Its got good production, an i really like "Klack"
Too bad it only sold as much as it did
-
Obviously as a Xzibit/SAS fan I guess i'm biased. But this cd is majorly slept on. It's quality music and is head and shoulders above the rest of the 2004 early 2005 releases. I guess it just wasn't the right time or like Rass Kass said, poor marketing.
-
It's mediocre, and coming from a dope cat like Xzibit, it's pathetic. I know some of y'all might say I'm being harsh, a hater, etc., but I'm just being real. I was a huge X fan, still am, but the dude's got so much talent and potential. He's got hook ups with pretty much every dope producer/rapper in the industry, so there is no excuse for WMD.
I only hope Ras Kass was right. That Columbia doesn't know how to market him or whatever. Somethings definitely wrong.
-
I voted for just nice, mediocre cause even though it has some dope songs it doesn't have a lot of replay value.
-
I thought it was good. Everyone says man vs machine was better but I think this one is way better

I somewhat agree.
I am not a huge X fan, i only have a couple of his singles but having heard some of his older stuff, and in comparison to other albums i've heard recently...this album just didnt stick out to me...
Then again, neither did Luda's latest offering..

The first listen I did not know what to think of it but know I play it constantly. I would rate it 3.75 maybe even 4 out of 5. The only song that is weak is Saturday Night Live
-
man...too me i thought it was a good xzibit album...fuck wut ppl say ...cuz i aint tryina compare his other shit to this ...or tryina compare his lyrics to his other shit ...although i gotta admit manvsmachine was weaker than this album...this album is great...i didnt trip if dre or snoop didnt show up ....this better than all those radio shitty albums out there
-
i think its very good.
it belongs to my top 20 albums of 2004
There's enough half-ass albums in my top20 of 2004... Shows it wasn't a great year, but still Xzibit made it close to my top 10
Good album overall.

that doesnt make sense ... so if Columbia knew how to market him right the album would be better? regardless of whether Columbia markets him well or poor, the music is still the same. i thought it was a strong, solid album especially given he didnt have the 'heavyweight' names all over it like his last albums [snoop, dre, em]
-
just nice, mediocre
-
I think it was solid effort, def. better than MvM but comes nowhere near the first 3. Still a 3.85/5 for me
-
It's listenable, not much replay-value. But still it's a disappointing album, in my opinion
-
very good.i expected some wack shit after hearing motherfucker and hey now but its a great album imo
-
Nice, mediocre
-
5
-
I thought it was real good..."Criminal Set", "Muthafucka" & "Saturday Night Live" are tha ones i keep repeatin'...I think X came w/ tha heat on this one...one of tha albums from 2004 that I could listen to tha whole way through...only thing I would've changed is more Mitchy on tha SAS songs but otherwise I thought it was real good
-
good

Since Xzibit went platinum with Restless, he has lost that killer instict. He used to be hungry, but now he got he ate his fill, and he fell off. He used to go against the grain and represent the hip-hop counterculture. He was one of the few mc's on the West Coast that East Coast heads really respected as a true mc. He had skills. His first 3 albums were all bangers. He's too Hollywood now.
-
it's a very disappointing album... i only like about three tracks. :(
-
just good...nothing special
-
It's a good album. People really shouldn't be sleeping on it.
If you don't cound Murs' album, it was the best the westcoast had to offer last year.
-
Got bored with it pretty quick...IMO his worst album.
-
i voted it was good. 8) 8) 8)
-
Only listening to it for the second time now so it needs a few morre listens but at the moment i would just say its ok.
-
I thought it was good. I mean it has its flaws like every album and I cant say too much yet about replay value but its a real fresh sounding album from start to finish.

-
Well i used to be a huge X fan back in the At The Speed of Life/40 Dayz & 40 Nightz days and even the Restless days but homie fell of pretty hard but this was good albm. Nothin more nothing less.
-
between good and very good.
-
Who's the idiot that voted "classic"???Dude doesnt even have the balls to claim he did it.
-
i would say average. X can do much better then this.
