eternal darkness, metroid prime 1 and 2...

pretty much if you don't have a xbox and the game you want comes out on gamecube and ps2, you should get the gamecube version for better graphics

Well.... it all depends on what kind of gamer you are Gamecube is the fun system while PS2 leans toward more gamer teens and adults  while Xbox leans more to people who play PC games  because everything has that PC feel to it.

Basically for GCN:
Pikmin 1 and 2\
Animal Crossing
All Mario titles are good
Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2
Star Wars Rogue Squadron games are good
Metroids are good
Zelda the Windwaker is good
Super Smash bros Melee is good if  u have a lot of friends who are good at it(best fighter ever)
all the sports games are on it and it looks damn good
there are games that are weird that are very good such as Billy Hatcher  and the Giant egg that are uber fun.
Games such as Prince of persia and True Crime are like almoat must haves and are on all systems so u can take your pick

basically The gamecube is a very fun and cheap system almost all games I named are greatest hits so u can get em for 20-30 bucks so basically for about 500 u can get the system and almost all the good games for it and u will be satisfied

its essentially a monkey ball machine. which is probably better than having a halo machine, but not as good as having a video game system (PS2)

funny you call the xbox a halo machine when it has the majority of the same games as ps2...and the xbox versions are always better

a halo machine beats an anime/rpg machine anyday

I have a Gamecube pretty much strictly for mario type games.  You gotta get Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, Mario Golf, Mario Party, Spuer Monkey Ball 2 (even tho its comin out for xbox now)

I just bought a Game Cube, but only because it was $40. I played through Zelda; Wind Waker. It's a great game. I'll have to checkout Resident Evil, after reading the reviews.

the new zelda looks nice, but i played the wind waker at my little cousins house and it was so corny. but then i only played into the first 2 hours of it so i cant really judge it.

Metroid Prime 2 does refference the first one a few times, but you find out the background info through files that you come across...if you do play the 2nd one without playing the first, you'll miss out on a surprise twist though... i played the earlier metroid games but i was nver really into them...but the prime series quickly became one of my favorite series of games
