I heard this shit driving to work today at 3pm on the beat for that A1/Spinderella show. Damn that shit is tight, with the voice box. I want to try to record it if I can.

they play it almost every day before A1/spins show
power 106 has the dopest drops, especialyl with fell fel. they usually have chino xl, crooked i, sly boogy, kam, dirty birdy do the drops all together. they are extremely dope

ya thats what he said. thats just stupid to me. he said in an interview that he stopped it out of respect for roger and a lot of people dont use it right....well IMO if he really wanted to show his repect he would show everybody else how its done. that would carry on roger troutmans legacy.
i think the real reason he stopped it is coz he's prolly going for a new sound....he's detatching himself from everything in the past...even his crew (hi-c, suga free, amg). hope it works out for him but...man i love that talkbox over a dj quik beat

Yep, that's how I see it. He's heading in a new direction, so he's done with the talkbox. That I'm-a-leave-it-out-of-respect thing is bullshit, he's been doing it for 6 years, doesn't make sense, but it always cool to say it. He'll do it again when he feels like it, and won't be no disrespect.
That drop may have been done before he decided to stop talkbox-ing.

Gotcha. And yeah, I don't understand why Quik ain't using the Talkbox anymore. There's no need for him to put it down.
