I was just thinking about how much this cd means to a lot of people my age... I read all these posts about how they used to do this listening to regulate...how they feel in love with that cd... how it's one of the best cd's ever... I'm assuming most of these people are probably around 21-24... cuz I'm 23 fixing to be 24 in a month... and most people that are from that 94-96 era say that cd is classic which I agree... it's just funny to me to see other people love a cd a much as I do... that was the first real hip hop cd I ever owned... i think I was in the 7th or 8th grade and that's all the fuck I did was listen to that cd and play sports... i swear to you that is the day I feel in love with hip hop on Feb. 24 (my birthday) when I got that cd... Man that was so long ago it damn near 11 years... me and my boy "B" (still brothers to this day)... anyway just my thoughts on a great cd... really don't make no sense but ah who cares... peaaaaaaaaaceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..............

So is it just for your personal memories that you like this cd so much, or is it the quality of the music?
As for me personally, there's loads of other cd's from around that time that I like better than this 1. But no, I'm younger than you.

Both... I love the music on that cd... I was listening to it the other day... I still love Warren G...

I think it's too hard to say with music from that era... the records themselves are astounding, but then it all ties in with memories from that 'coming of age' time. (I was 15 when Regulate dropped)
I can't be sure, but I just don't feel like 10 years from now, the music I'm buying and listening to today will bring back memories of being 25... Last album that did anything similar for me was Quik's Rhythm-al-Ism, which was the soundtrack for my second year at university (I got it a year late lol).

I still bump this album on occasion. I love it, classic shit right here. Very few albums hold dear to my heart like this one does.
