Title: The day today, not the nine o'clock news & brass eye

anyone miss these sorts of shows? i found them hilarious i wish some more people would make comedy mocumentaries/news shows or is it something that will stay in the 90s

oh and i hear spitting image was coming back on the air a while ago anyone know whats up with that?

uh "not the nine o'clock news" started in '79!

did u mean the 11 o'clock show ?

no 11 o'clock show was shit compared to these just off with the timing thats all, i've got a few epidosed off emule they are timeless classics, i should've remembered those we're in the thatcher / major years.

The Day Today and Brass Eye were largely the work of Chris Morris - fucking hilarious shows. The guy always pushes things as far as he can take them. Remember the uproar when he did a Brass Eye about kiddie fiddling? It was on the front page of every newspaper lol... he's made a career by writing comedy about things most people could never imagine joking about...
