Title: Can anyone tell me about Game Cube?
Post by: PLANT on January 19, 2005, 08:56:17 AM: Im living in a college residence these days and I picked up a Nintendo GameCube a couple days ago. I thought I would save some money instead of grabbing an XBox or PS2...

So anyways, I bought 007 "Everything is Nothing" and NBA Street 2. I need to get some more games ASAP....Id like to get another sports game and something else aswell. Can someone recomend me some games?

The new Zelda game is sure to be a classic, as well as the new Donkey Kong. Excellent system IMO. A lot of the games are considered "kiddie", but they're fun as hell so I don't care.

that is an essential list of games....take out a few if you're not into the teen/gameplay games

might want to throw in timesplitters 2, mortal kombat deadly alliance...Mortal Kombat deceptions somes out in a few months with a few more extras than the xbox and ps2 versions

but right now an ABSOLUTE is Resident Evil 4

Metroid Prime 1 & 2 fall in 2nd and 3rd

Post by: Jakubs on January 25, 2005, 05:07:17 AM: Mario Kart Double Dash and Super Smash Bros. Melee were good recommendations. If you play with your friends a lot then Mario Party 6 is great as well as Mario Power Tennis. Basically any Mario game is going to be a good addition to the collection.

Post by: eKardz on March 03, 2005, 11:12:21 PM: all of the resident evils are a good pick up, so is wind waker, and i think they are making a more realisitic zelda at the end of this year similar to the ones shown at e3 in like 2001 or some shit....dope as fuck that game looks check on ign. thats why i got gamecube, for zelda.

metroid prime is definitely a game to pick up. i think it won or almost won game of the year if it wasnt for halo. those two were neck and neck.
when is that new zelda supposed to come out/? i cant wait for that one....
