fuck it wit all the game threads its time for a couple D-A-Z theads.
im very pleasantly surprised. that george clinton shit is fuckin banging,... possible classic song.
the whole album man... production is TOP NOTCH. the raps is cool daz is no lyrical mosnter but its aight.
i think that if he would've had the whole dogg pound family featured on there, we woulda had a potential classic on our hands... daz held his own though, he showed he can whole down a record without kurupt. (not sayin the record would'nt have been 10 times doper with kurupt, cause i would be lying)
but yeah daz came through, only thing missing to me is some dpg features.bad azz on a couple, some goldie loc, butch, snoop, soopafly...
-
the beats is hot, lyrics is below average. and i dont like how he reused all these old songs beats, hooks, ect.
too bad he wasnt doin beats like this when him Kurupt, Bad Azz, Soopafily, etc were always collabing

he stepped his flow kind of b ack up though, like on that george clinton song the one that go OOH OOOH OOOOH OOH OOOH OHHHh from knee deep.. he be spittin.
but yeah the album is really missing the dpg features.
im just sayin some pepople were sayin daz is wack now he puttin out garbage, the mans beats to be are better than dre's shit lately, the beats on thsi album are bangin!
-
Daz was dope on the mic back in the days when Kurupt wrote his shit but i´ve always liked his flow(i think i´m the only that likes it)but on the lyrial tip Daz aint that dope. i´d rather hear Snoop rappin over Dillinger´s beats then Daz himself.
-
Im mostly surprised with the good production. I mean I always knew he could produce but lately he kinda fell off, not to mention his flows, remember back in the days he used to go "diggity daz out the cut once mo with some shit that i wrote with my ni66a d-r-e so you know i must be dope but uh rat tat tat tat dat ass" that shit was classic I wish he would still rap like that. But on the George Clinton cut he's spittin hard!
-
i'll holla back later :D
-
This is some great laid back shit. Fuck lyrics, I'm feleint he vibe from the album.
-
I gave up Daz a year ago, actually I lost more and more faith in rap in general but all I can say now is WOW! Great album, great start to a great year? First Game droppin' a dope album, now Daz! Good job!
-
i'll holla back later :D
-
im dloadin now, ill drop some feedback a bit later
-
I think Daz made an album for his fans. I'm loving it 8)

WORD....he brought it back full circle on the production tip....I didnt think he could do it without mike dean or dre or somebody cosigning his production but this shit got me groovin in my computer chair....
-
Fuck lyrics, I'm feleint he vibe from the album.
I feel the same way. I'm surprised with this album.
-
time will tell. I listened to it once, and was pleasantly surprised, although the second half of the album didn't hold my interest too well. I have a feeling this album will get old really quik. It sure would have been a lot doper chock full of dpg guest appearances like bad azz, tray deee, goldie loc, lil c-style, big pimpin, twinz, snoop, kurupt, crooked I, RBX, Soopafly, Bo Roc. but hey, like that will ever happen.
-
homie bad azz has been locked in the studio for over a month straight he said he knocked out 3 albums worth of material, him the low lifes, 2 newcomes sevin and leebo (leebo was discovered by goldie hes straight DOPE and sevin is crazy too) and kokane , bokie loc, all the lbc cats, ras kass etc bad is sayin its straight heat they gonna mix some stuff and he gonna send me some shit for ya'll, sounds tight though.
-
Yeah, i'm liking this album.. And about Bad Azz.. let us know the deal, Nima. I'm happy as fuck he's working with Low Lifes again. Is he working with Crooked I too?
-
it's dope
-

homie Bad Azz, Crooked I, Techniec and Lil C-Style are now a group! All the info on that is in my crooekd i interviwe comin..
-
is it another one of those groups that never drop a cd?
-
Personally, I think that this album is tight. The production is tight like LiL Jay said. When it comes to the lyrics there is nothin special there but this is the kind of album that you can put in the ride and just cruise to.
-
Are yall people on crack!! The album is pop and rnb!! Daz on the mic staright wack and the beats aint westcoast!! Nima did you get paid to post this bullshit!!?? Nothin againts you but common please this album sucks!! Straight Flowers rap!!
-
^^ .........hmm...........checks avatar......ok, i see why
-
i won't say it's r&b,more like g funk
i only listened to the track on dubcnn and it's tight as fuck
it sounds way better than his solo album from death row
i'll be picking this one

so i guess you think warren g's debut album is full of pop and R&B tracks too huh?
-
This is some great laid back shit. Fuck lyrics, I'm feleint he vibe from the album.
I agreeeeeeeeee
-
Well I just listened to it again the whole way thru in my car. this album has absolutely no replay value for me. not a bad album, but nothing special. Daz can't hold it down by himself on the mic. The DPG's NEED each other. that is the only way they can make a good album. They also NEED DOC. I can already tell you I'm not gonna like Kurupts new album much since it won't have any dpg's on it. Like their songs goes "I Ain't Shit Without My Homeboys". Bump this album and then bump RR&GB - No fuckin comparison.
-
this is good laid back shit with quality production that I been wantin to hear lately
-
The CD sounds more like hayday west coast style. I like it. A couple tracks sound like some r&b, but for the most part, it's pretty good.
-
just got done listenin' to it...dope album...tha track w/ george clinton is real dope...
-

Lil C-Style gone be the fuck up of the group. homie used to be iight but after hearin his album - blahhh. Id rather Just Crooked I, Bad Azz, and Tech. ahh well, i guess I can always take his verses out...
-
Best album this year so far for me. Only 4 wack songs, the rest are heat. "Get A Dose of Dis Hot Ish" is some classic DPG shit. I can't get enough of it.
-
fuck it wit all the game threads its time for a couple D-A-Z theads.
^^^^ C0-Sign
It's getting ridiculous every site i go to there's atleats 15 different threads talking about what he said , where someone saw him what he was eating and other dumbass threads.
I ain't heard tha album but i heard it's been leaked on tha internet i'm gonna get me that shit
-
potential classic? nah man, more like potential disaster!
you gave me high expectations there fo a while, but after one
listen i realized daz is just as average as he's been for the latest 5 years!
Im witcha that this album woulda been way better if it would have the whole
dpg-family on it, but even "dpgc.. u know what im throwin up" was better than
this release, and "u know what...." was like a 2.5/5!
this album is 2/5
-
Its daz best solo album. It has so many potential singles on its crazy. I cant wait until the 01/25

are u crazy? have u heard RR&GB or RAW?
-
^ for real..
daz is wack lyrically on this, yet again rehashing stuff.. .. the beats are kinda nice.. a few obvious 'interpolations'.. nothing really stands out.. definitely nothing of 'single' value... i got bored of it quicker than the game album which i;'m still bumping... but again lyrically daz aint saying shit... yes he's flowing better than than on the last 2 albums he put out.. but still feels empty compared to RAW and before..
STILL the best thing daz has put out inthe last few years is "i got dat fire".. (and "crook in me" is brilliant but that doesnt count properly..)
-
its ok...got some good hardcore westcoast tracks....but we'll all be bored of this in a couple weeks...daz cant rap and his flow sucks...he just sounds bad anymore....this is nothing compared to RR&GB(wich is a classic)....3/5
-
^^^ exactly
-
For me it's a 4/5, some tight azz Westcoast tracks. 8) Props to Daz, I didn't think he still was able to do such an album.
-
I personally am really feelin' this album right now, Production is really tight.
-
I have like Daz since 1998. I havent heard the whole album through but I have heard 7 cuts and they were all good. The rest of his cds had that only that many goods songs total and I am sure I will like others songs. I think al lot of his songs are more clubish radio friendly which is why some people arent feeling it. The element which makes this albumn his best solo is his hooks and chorus his past album chorus were not as good. but thats my opinion.
-
THE ALBUM is fucking DOPE
