Ice cube has produced many dope tracks in his career , mostly in the mid nineties for artists like
yoyo
mack 10 ( alot of dope shit on his first album including hoo bangin )
K dee
lench mob
kausion ( damn near whole album!)
Friday (title single from his movie)
west side connection
WC curb servin ( west up! cant stay away)
I feel like Ice cube could have been a recognized producer in the game...and alot of his production was tight as fuck...
if you know of other tracks cube did the beat for or have something to add speak on it.....
-
Ice Cube would be in my top 5 West Coast producers if he kept making beats. So many classics and he made one of my top 20 beats of all time with "Hoo Bangin'". Don't forget his Bootlegs & B-Sides productions, "You Know How We Do It (Remix)", for example. Cube also did a dope beat on "The World Is Mine" off the Dangerous Ground soundtrack. He had his own distinct sound too, the bass was always hard kickin'.
-
Mack 10's "Take A Hit" off the Friday OST, produced by Cube, was tight as well. I agree, if only he had the time, he would've been a seriously nice producer.

word!

I always assumed that tracks that said "produced by Ice Cube" were actually produced by Sir Jinx or DJ Pooh or one of those guys.
-
If anything he probably picked up a few production tips from Jinx, Pooh, and Dre of course
-
Yea, I've liked most of the tracks he produced. Wish there was more to listen to.
-
Bow Down (Ice Cubes Gangsta Mix)...im guessing it was produced by him......CHECK THE HOOKUP SPOT if u wanna hear it
-
he was dope and is a true legend for his craft, not because of record sells, or he is dead, he had an impact on music, suburbs, music industry...all that shyt, not too many on that level
-
I always thought his production was pretty solid too.
-
I actually remember hearin an interview or somethin with him where he said he was starting to get into production but he said he was runnin out of original beats or somethin.

-
EVERYONE FORGOT ABOUT HIS PRODUCTION ON DEL's "I WISH MY BROTHER GEORGE WAS HERE".....
DOPE ASS BEATS
-
I'd like to hear more Cube beats too, nigga should have produced "Roll Call" instead of Lil Jon
-
Reading all of this makes me wish that he would take it back to how he used to be on the mic...Hard as Fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cube used to be undeniably tight, man he and the WSC took on NY and gave it to them.
-
The Freshest Mc's... Cube flipped that one better than Warren G IMO!
Cube was a good producer, he made some real smooth g funk...
-
