First off... it's DJ Quik... without the C.
Start off by listening to "Tonite".

dj quik is one of the best
listen to Speed featuring AMG and listen to Dollaz + Sense, also if you want a more comercial track, listen to Trouble from Under The Influence album
-
btw you might need to take a time to get used to his voice, cause it's unique like eazy e's
-
Unda the Influence is his best album lyrically.
Rhythmalism is his best album musically.
I'd say start there. You shouldn't have any problem finding his albums used at this point.
His albums
Quik is the Name
Way Too Funky
Safe and Sound
Rhythmalism
Balance and Options
Unda the Influence
Greatest Hits
Albums with heavy DJ Quik production:
2nd II None - Classic 220
Most tracks were produced by DJ Quik.
Suga Free - Street Gospel
Album produced entirely by DJ Quik
Suga Free - The New Testament
DJ Quik produced half the album
Suga Free and Mausberg present the Konnektid Project
DJ Quik makes drops several verses on the album and he handles quite a bit of the production along with Big Saccs and G-One
Mausberg - Non Fiction
DJ Quik rhymes on three songs and produced most of the album
All the albums I mentioned range anywhere to solid quality albums to arguable classics. You Can't Go Wrong like Kurupt said (another brilliant DJ Quik production).
