When I listened to Executive decisions a while ago i'm pretty sure there were only like one or two fredwreck songs, my question is why doesn't Bad Azz just do a whole album with fredwreck. Both of these guys are tryin to get some exposure, this would be the perfect way to do it, they already got the chemistry from previous songs, and not too many can rap over a fredwreck beat as good as bad azz. Also beats have been a major problem with past bad azz albums, this would fix that too.
Only reason I could see this not happening is cause fred raised his prices
-
good question
-
you are right : fred is an important producer now....bad azz is out from the dpg camp right now,he is out from doggystyle... I don't think he can afford fredwreck as a producer
-
don't get me wrong: bad azz is dope
-
lol ya'll trippin... 'he can't afford fred' lol
but nah fred gave bad some beats for his new shit, bad recorded like 3 albums worth of material in the last 2 months, we should have some audio previews soon..
-
im wondering why any westcoast artist doesnt do a whole cd of fredwreck's beats
Its not about who it is...NOBODY does an album with one producer nowadayz...which is a shame ..
-
well daz did the whole production for his new album
and i'm sure underground rappers from the bay are still doing it
i have an album from the unda doog, and he mixed and produced the whole album himself
but back to the subject, bad azz needs to come with banging production cause it was the main problem with his previous albums
imo, even production on word on the streets was lacking

Even though Fred is dope as fuck as a producer. Doing an entire album with 1 producer (especially a gangsta beat producer) doesnt work well. Booya tribe tried their last album entirely with BattleCat as the producer and I think it didnt break 100,000 albums. Not too many people outside of california love gangster shit, no matter how dope it is.
WTF was up with all the pop beats on executive decision anyway?
-
why just bad azz? hell I think many rappers should utilize fred wreck a lot more, he is a dope producer. and not just fred either, there is plenty of producers that don't get used enuff:
blaqtoven
khayree
mike mosely
sam bostic
lt hutton
e-a-ski
ecay uno
goldie loc
dj slip
buddah
warren g
battlecat
ant banks
Plus more I can't think of. who knows why rappers don't use these producers much anymore. I see mainly with the westcoast rappers are always getting low budget beats to save money. and with more popular rappers, they just want the popular producers. It sucks, cuase that list of producers I made drops mutha fuckin heat.

Bad Azz came off real nice on that "Gang Bang 4 Real" track with Tha Eastsidaz. I wanna hear him work with Fred Wreck more too.
-
fred >> bad azz
-
a lamp post >>> white boy
bad azz is a rapper, fred is a producer. they don't do both. how can u compare the 2?

If you do 100 k as a independent u should be happy as fuck..even if you have a wellknown producer as Battlecat doin your whole shit..besides Boo Yaa wasnt doin major numbers neither when they was on a major so...

Boo ya tribe didn't sell cause there was no promotion for it, not cause it was just one producer, i mean shit they had a single featuring and produced by eminem and they still didn't move units, right there tells you promotion is the problem.
I think albums with just one or two producers are usually better cause the sound is more consistent and it gives the album a theme instead of it just being a collection of songs. See jay-z blueprint, or murs 3:16, or even R&G. Say what you want about the lyrics, but that album had a consistent sound all the ways thru, and it fit the theme of the album

fred as a producer >> bad azz as a rapper..
