I got a ingrown toenail, the shit is nasty and it fuckin HURTS! It's gonna cost me over $100.00 to get it fixed but I can't pay for it till next month.

Move to Norway and get free healthcare.. :D
I went through a knee operation worth $15.000 four months ago, and all I paid was the taxi bill. 8)
About toenails though, you can either have a normal doctor do it and you'll be 80% sure to get the problem again later..
Or you can see a specialist, they use acid to remove a part of the nailroot, and you will never have the problem again.
(Acid sounds crazy, but it's the drugneedle that hurts, you won't feel a thing.)

yea man, i had one on my big toe... was fuckin sore as fuck... i feel ur pain..
i got it fixed for free on the nhs, they riped my toe nail off n it will never grow back...
looks fucked up but the pain away so was worth it..

yeah, i had one on my big toe. i had a normal doctor do it, but i don't respond to anastesia too well, being that it doesn't have much of an effect on me. i went into the surgery, and he grabs a BIG fuckin needle (i dont like needles btw), jams it in my toe and walks out. comes back 5mins later tappin on my toe 'can you feel that?' 'yep sure can champ!' so he gives me another needle, goes out & comes back 5mins later 'can you still feel this?' 'yep!'. he put an elastic band around my toe to cut off the blood flow, took our his scissors and startin cutting away anyway. that hurt more than having my jaw popped & surgery to have 4 wisdom teeth removed.
if i ever had the choice between either of those 2, i would take the jaw surgery for the wisdom teeth WITHOUT ANY doubt.

We have free health care here too, but I have to go to a Podiatrist, and he's not free.

Just make sure to get it done proper, if you get it again and again it might become worse, and you'll become more and more handicapped..

I feel for ya man....I put up with one on each big toe for over a year till I finally went to the doctor to have an operation. He told me not to watch, but I wanted to see why he was pouring water all over my feet and I could hear it dripping on the ground. It wasn't water...it was blood! It was fine for a few months, then my right toe formed it AGAIN! I just lived with it till finally it went away on it's own then.

I've had a couple back when I was in highschool...I went to a Podiatrist to get them fixed...They hurt like a bitch and they a lil sore after you get em fixed but its very well worth the money spent...

I had my toenail removed too. Both of them, matter of fact. And a couple of times, shit kept happening and I decided to cut that shit off and they cut the sides of my toenails so that they dont get into the flesh... nahmean? It's like... the toenail it's still there and normal, but without the sides. That's the better solution. Problem fixed, and guaranteed it won't happen again. For free too, but one time they took my nail off with no anesthesia (is it called like that in English?)... SHIT HURTED LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER!

I've had ingrown toe nails but i didn't go to the doctor or anything and my toe got inflamed and it hurt like hell for like 2 weeks every fuckin day, so i started to soak em in hot salt water and use this cream called "fucidin" or something between the nail and the sking and put a band aid over it all day long when it got better i just cut off the part that was sticking into the flesh. I still get it sometimes but never as bad as then ... the worst part was the fact that i had to play soccer during it all or i'd be off the team....assholes

My mate had a ingrown hair in his back, he had to have surgery and it was fucked up, lots of problems for him man...

i've had a few because of Combat Boots but i just let them run their course...or if they hurt bad i operate on them myself
