Their first group album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is considered a true classic... But then the Wu-Tang artists came with a bunch of sophomore albums. Now I'm wondering, which one is the most popular on DubCC?
I went for Raekwon's... Actually, any album mentioned above is a masterpiece, but Raekwon's really hits hard.

Only Built For Cuban Linx...although it is very close...to me all those are classics...
-
Genius/GZA - Liquid Swords
-
I havent heard GZA's album or ODB's,but from the ones Ive heard Im going with Raekwon.Thats gotta be one of my favorite albums of all time.Everything on there is on some next level type of shit.

It damn sure all is hiphop on a higher level. I'd personally rank their albums:
1) Enter the Wu-Tang
2) Raekwon - Only built 4 Cuban Linx
3) Method Man - Tical
4) Genius/GZA - Liquid Swords
5) Ghostface Killah - Ironman
6) Ol' Dirty Bastard - Return to the 36 chambers
They're all high class cd's, but only Enter the Wu-Tang really is a classic. After all, the rest of these wasn't that influental. They were just amazingly good.

It's true, but that's only been 2 votes out of 22 so far... Remember the eastcoast sound is pretty much different from the westcoast sound. I myself for example don't like the southern crunk sound either. I can imagine people not liking Wu-Tang or east coast because overall it sounds a lot more grimey. It's not such easy listening material as some of the westcoast stuff is. But then again... Why all this square thinking. See it as music, don't judge it for what it's supposed to be, judge it for what it is.
Funny to see Raekwon and Genius almost tying... I hadn't expected Genius to be that popular at all, compared to the others.

raekwon albums sickkkkk 8)

i voted 4 gza, but all were amazing, but for real i dont like ghost much he sounds too coked out. enter the 36 chambers was amazing too, didnt like rzas solos too much though. wu-tang's album after 36 chambers (the double, i think, i cant remember) was ok too. Redman was really good around this time too

I voted for Cuban Linx, all of those are pretty near classics though, I loved how RZA tweaked his production to suit each Clan members own style back then. In like a three year period, I don't think RZA dropped anything even remotely weak production wise, very few producers have ever bought out so much quality material in such a short period of time.

Cuban Linx is the one out of those that i like even a bit better than enter the wu-tang. 3rd best wu-related ever/2nd best solo would be Liquid Swordz, all the others can't compete with these IMO

Method Man's "Tical" is the best out of 'em, and GZA's album was tight too...
