I copped a new whip and put some incredible knock in it, so I pulled out my precious CD collection. Man, Daz really put it down on this shit, my favorite gangsta shit album ever. This shit came out in '98, still sounds great. Mixed and mastered perfect. The title track is the most gangsta, hardest shit ever created. Niggas slept on this gem, and this album is one of the reasons why I have so much respect for Daz. All the shit he dropped after this, can't compare. The album cover is dope as fuck ( Concept taken from Marvin Gaye), and the inside booklet is tight. The intro is sick with Tray-Dee and Bad Ass. All the guest appearances were perfect, and to conclude the album, the outro is slapping. Definitely a Classic. Fuck the haters 8) 8)

I love the beat on the outro where he gives his shouts....
-
I like the album but for me it ain't even near a classic.
-
fullproof classic

I don't know what's worse, a Dre/AfterMath groupie, or a DJ Quik groupie.
-
I've only said that it ain't a classic for me cause I don't feel it that much. And why you callin' me an Aftermath or Quik groupie?
-
It's a really good album, but no classic.
-
Classic no doubt.
-
very good 8 out of 10

I have never really got into this album, maybe its because i never bought it when it first came out. I think i will have to give it another try.
-
Is it from 1998 or 2001? Amazon says:
# Audio CD (May 22, 2001)
# Label: Death Row
-
That was the best Daz album he ever made.Everything else he released since is just subpar.

CLASSIC

It Might Sound Crazy => one of the best tracks ever, Classic

R.R.G.B. is a near classic, 1994 - 1998 era is the era when DAZ was in his fuccin zone.
Murder was the Case - Daz outproduced Dre on that soundtracc, a classic g-funk productions by DAZ
Dogg Food - Flawless sequencing and Mixing thanx's to Dre, Flawless Production thanks to DaZ who produced 95% of the album, Kruput produced the hardest tracc So Many Styles. A hip-hop classic
All Eyez on ME - DAZ started to get musical and beats getting clearer and crisp from the tutlage from Dre, Out goes the G-Funk sound in comes some Cali Gangsta shit with a touch of smoothness
GANG RELATED SOUNDTRACC - The Best production Dat Nigga Daz did in his life, he took this task personal Dre, Snoop and Kurput left Death Row, Kurput was still around but it was DAZ, Outlawz, the realest was the last one standing. Daz carried that Soundtracc with his production and he reached a new plateu He EXcutive produced the album to, while BiG Suge was on lock. Me and Your World with Kurput, and Kurput solo was my favorite tracc's.
R.R.G.B - a near classic, Daz carried the whole album by himself with the help of soopafly. The Nigga brought bacc that G-funk sound for all those heads who missed it with Snoop and Nate Dogg on one song, took u bacc to 94-96.

It Might Sound Crazy => one of the best tracks ever, Classic
CLASSIC
In my top 10 fav albums ever. I like it better than Streetz is a mutha. The intro track is fucking amazing. If Tha Gang would have recorded an album in the same time period as this album was done... :o :o :o Daz, Tray Deee, Soopafly, Bad Azz, Techniec :o :o :o
Its hard for me to pick my favorite track on the album. When I first got it, it was It might sound crazy. but damn, the title track is so damn sick, and so is Oh No, and the intro track. Not a skippable track on the album.
-
fuck reading all these posts but i like the fucking album regbardless if yall hate it if yall love it then thats cool too i like it in daz's career its his classic but in music genarel it prolly come short i like the first two tracks and thank god for my life that is nice it WAS done before jesus walks fuck Kanye weak or west

Very dope album, but not quite classic. There are a number of west coast classic songs though, and Daz's production is fire.
-
Almost a classic. Got some tight tracks though.
