Title: Is there a program to convert .AVI to .MPG???

sorry to post in this forum ... maybe move when answered?  :-[

anyways ...

i got an .avi file that i want to play in my DVD player but the DVD player doesnt play .avi files [i know the newer ones do but this is a couple years old]

any way i can get this file to play as a VCD? Does anyone know how to convert it to an MPG file??

Help me out peoples!!!!!!!! thanks heaps

nero does convert then burn too in certain versions

u can use tmpeg enc. its the best mpeg encoder. google it if u want to download it.
