It says they are going to trade him for a 1st round pick and a veteran player.

Randy moss shouldnt stay in minnesota, they're going nowhere.

Oakland already has a great 1-2-3 punch at WR, if Moss goes there I see nothing but complaining on his part because he wouldn't get the ball enough. Besides the Raiders need to get a RB with the #7 pick, not trade it off to Minnesota for a player like Moss where they already have tons of depth at his position.
It really only makes sense for Moss to go to NY Jets or Balitmore. Jets have Pennington Moss' QB at Marshall and Moss might put the Jets ahead of the Patroits. And the Ravens because they need a big play WR badly.

What I don't understand about this whole thing is that Oakland just resigned Jerry Porter to multi-year deal (I think it was five years). Hopefully Moss's agent is just causing problems and this won't go through.

lol@1-2-3 punch you probably think they still have Jerry Rice and Tim Brown. Well they're gone they only have Jerry Porter.
Jerry Porter and Randy Moss will be a perfect combo.

I highly doubt this will work.. Moss knows better to mess with the raiders, who have been on and off being moved to another city, he wants to be on a team that has already sparked attention and is already a playoff contender.

Thats a steal for us to up give up the 7th pick and Napoleon Harris for Moss. We now have the best reciever to ever play the game . And with Jerry Porter we have the best 1-2 reciever punch in the NFL.

Are you kidding? collins isnt the BEST, but he is one of the best when it comes to the long ball. This is what Al Davis has always wanted, the vertical game. Now we will have an excellent passing game instead of an average one. We need a RB badly, they say we'll sign Lamont Jordan, he looks to be okay. We also need to fill a lot of gaps on defense, mainly the linebacker positions since Napolean Harris will be gone.

We need a receiver... but GOD DAMN!!!! Porter and Moss with Collins throwing deep balls. Fuck the rest, the Raiders have the best passing game in the NFL. This reminds me of the early Oakland days in 1995 when the Raiders had Rocket Ismal and Tim Brown and James Jett, with Rocket and Jett going down field and burning folks and Brown being the cut back receiver. We have young cut back receivers, like Ronald Curry, so I am very happy. The only problem, like in 1995, is that Justin Fargas and Amos Zereoue are very Napolean Koffmanish, in that they are good soild 3rd down backs, but as the main running back it doesn't work, and Tyrone Wheatly, though I love him and sport his jersey on the regular, his better days are behind him. The only thing holding us back in 1995 was a running back, and Al, if you are listening, lets not repeat that mistake. Hell, our passing game is better than in 1995, because our deep threats are way better than Jett and the Rocket. But our running game is the exact same thing, maybe worst 'cause I think Napolean was better than these 3 backs.

this is good moss fits perfectly in oakland
most raider fans will likerandy moss's attitude as long as he stays productive, the raiders really need need a running game , hopefully they can do something done this off season.
Raiders will be in the playoffs again :)

seems like everyones forgetting Ronald Curry. He had a really good year last year with 50 receptions. With Moss, Porter, and Curry....id say theyd have the best receiving core in the league. Its true, we need a running game more then anything. I was happy to hear the news about Moss...but i was really hopin we'd pursue Shawn Alexander. Having a good running game would really take the heat off of Collins. If we dont do something, EVERY defense we play next year will pin their ears back and rush the quarterback. Not too many teams have the secondary to stop all these receivers. But, without a running game...every team is gonna blitz the shit out of us and put pressure on Collins to make mistakes (which he does when he's pressured). Hopefully all out "stars" on defense step it up. We got all the talent in the world...but they cant seem to get it together. Maybe it just took a year for Sapp to adjust to a new position. But out secondary should be STRONG, and it hasnt been.
