Anyone know if i can buy dvd-r discs that can hold more then 4.7gb,cuz i jus rented Grand Turismo 4 and i wanna burn it but its 4.9gb

i think they sell Dual Layer blanks with 9.4gb, but not sure

yeah but you needa dual layer burner and they arent cheep

dual layer burners are CHEAP as chips dude.
One of the best on the market, doing all formats, the LG 4163B is only $98AU, which should equal about $50US.
Thats cheap as man cmon!

for backup i've worked out its cheaper and far much less hassle to keep buying 300gig HDD's and USB2 Caddies
for games that are oversize.. you may find a hacked solution of a smaller size..

dual-layer burners have become incredibly cheap but the media (9.4 G) is still pretty expensive, like 10 bucks per disc, whereas a single layer disc is like 50 cents.

yeah dual layer is 8.5 gig only in + at the moment we sell them for 3 quid a piece
my dads company actually imports stuff like this all the discs all the empty cases etc
