Title: Xbox pwercords part 2
Post by: Thirteen on February 26, 2005, 12:15:10 PM: i just got a letter from microsoft that said they would replace my power cord... if there's any xbox users that have an xbox older than Octover 23, 2003....you are eligible for a free cord...all you have to do is look on the bottom of the console and you'll see a manufacturer date

mine was from october 28th 2001

it's a way of getting back at the man Bill Gates...

while he was working as a programmer for i think it was IBM... they were having problems with their GUI (graphic user interface) so Bill asked if he could look at the code (he also worked for radio shack too) IBM then thought that the crap would never work so they let him look at the code and do what he wanted with it...when looking through the code he not only took the IBM OS but he figured out how to make the GUI work... this resulted in him forming microsoft and creating windows...radio shack was pretty pissed that one of their salesmen became a multi billionaire right under their noses so when you are hired for a job, they make you sign a paper that signs away your rights if you create an invention while being employed by them ;D
