sup yall
just somethin i noticed...whenever quik takes 3 years to release an album, it's banger..
way 2 fonky came out in 92 and 3 years later, safe & sound came out
3 years after that, rhythmalism came out....both these albums (rhythmalism and safe&sound are his best works, imo)
in 2002, he released UTI and since 3 years later, he will be releasing his 'comeback' album...can't freakin' wait!!
now, this is not to say that UTI, Way 2 Fonky and Quik is the Name were shit....far from it...i love everything quik makes
call me crazy, but i have a REALLY good feelin' this album is gonna be super hot...

seriously, how often does quik disappoint on an album?
regardless of how u thought his beats on Pac's, Do or Die's or Jayz's album sounded, you know Quik saves his best work for his solo albums... this is my most anticipated album this year, but i seriously doubt it will drop next month like he's been saying in recent interviews... Quik is right up there with Dre when it comes to consistently droppin bangin ass albums.
peace

i was kinda dissapointed with under the influence...there was some sick shit on their but quik can do better....personally i though he came better on the mic

The O.C. sucks dick, but the DJ quik album will be good

Quik is past dre as an artist. Quik has never dissapointed me on anything, unlike dre.
The new album will be good no matter what, but as far as it being on the level of Safe & Sound or Rythm-al-ism is unlikely but we will see...
