One of the illest West Coast producers mentored him... Muggs

He helped produce tracks for a legendary West Coast group in their early days... Cypress Hill

He reps where he's from on the regular... L.A.

Yes, he's West Coast. He just came up on the East. Just like Master P is a Southern rapper, even though he came up here.

No.  When I think of his beats I think of Mobb Deep or D Block etc....Plus, his beats dont sound westcoast to me.

Dope producer none the less.

His westcoast to me, the same way Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5, Pharcyde are westcoast. They are the outside, they work with eastcoast artist sometimes, but they are still very westcoast. The only thing I think Alchemist fucked up on, was the whole Ras Kass situation, 'cause I think Alchemist and Ras Kass would have been perfect together, and adding him to work with Strong Arm Steady would have been great.

Yeah that's true. But when the song has been produced by a westcoast producer I like it a little bit more when I'm listening to it cuz then I hear the shit and think: yeah that's the westcoast!  8)

I consider him Eastcoast because of who he works with 95% of the time, and because of where he lives.
I don't really think Westcoast people gives a shit about him, unless Dilated or Cypress Hill is brought up in the same sentence, at least it seems like it.
His debut CD was discussed a couple of times in Outbound, and I don't remember anybody talking about it in the Westcoast section..
