the last few weeks, every time i get an email with an attachement and i wanna open it, it tells me Hotmail Found A Virus In The File, and i can't download it. i get this with every attachement. sometimes when i refresh like 10 times suddenly it'll work once...
Anybody know anything about this?

Same shit happened to me, man...it's like a glitch in the hotmail where everything scans as a virus. I just deleted everything with an attachment to be on the safe side.

it's happened to me a few times but it went away.... depending on who it's from and what it is..just open it up anyways...
like my friend was sending me a document and i knew he wouldn't just attach a virus to something he had to send me so i opened it up and everything was fine

problem is with new hotmail if it detects a virus it wont allow you to dld it, you gotta get it resent :/ ive had the problem too nima, pain in the ass

it sucks because i get about 20 emails a day with attachements that i need. I don't really get any spam. I know my shit ain't virus. And I'm unable to download the shit! Pissin me off.
Also i duno if this is a prob wit my pc or something, but alotta times when I wanna send an email, it doesn't work, it says page cannot be displayed or I just see a blank white page. Any1 else have this happen?

DONT USE HOTMAIL OFF THE WEB, USE Outlook Express!!!! that will solve ur problem

yea its best to have it coming thru outlook
yea nima, same here, happens alot, i have to keep going back and trying again, works after about the 6-7 time, its rediculous.

that's been happening to me too, I couldn't download that Caz song cuz it siad it had a virus on it or something.

Hey nima is hotmail, i can't find anything official on it yet but i know a ton of ppl with the same problem, there's no fix yet tho ::)
i dont know about everyone else but i stopped using Outlook cuz it let too many viruses slip through but maybe that was just my virus scan was crap

I also got problems with hotmail...
first it works very slow now and sometimes i have to refresh a few times to be able to send a mail
I also got the problem with the "virus detected" ...really fucked up!!
The problems started when Hotmail 'improved' (LOL!) their services with 200MB E-Mail space

just read an article on MSN.com that says they are working on a fix for this problem
