SOHH..Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson offered a truce to recently ousted G-Unit member, Jayceon "The Game" Taylor during a Hot 97 interview last night.
50 refused to answer Angie upon being asked what would happen if the Compton rapper opted to continue the feud. Last Monday night, Game affiliate Kevin Reed, 24, was shot in the leg during an altercation outside of Hot 97's studios. The incident took place when Game and his comrades drove back to the station after hearing 50 disrespect him and revealing that he had been dropped from the G-Unit crew. Some of 50's entourage tried to prevent Game and his squad from entering the station's building and a fight broke out; resulting in Reed being shot.
In fear of more violence, police has beefed up its presence at Hip-Hop spots since the incident and sources say 50 has been under constant surveillance since the shooting. Fiddy also said he's willing to have a sit down with Game to end the dispute.
"What he said is not enough to say I hate him," 50 offered. "It's something we can get past. It's not that crazy. I want to have a conversation with him to figure out what's going on."

Realisticly the problem is this. If the beef continues, regardless of if its fake, for the media, and album sales, it doesnt mean that it will remain "fake" to all the homies of 50 and Game. Its going to end up like Bad Boy Vs Death Row, where 50 wont be able to perform out here, and Game wont be doing shit out in NY. And in the end, thats worst for us (West Coast). Whoever you think is a "bitch" (50 or Game) doesnt make a difference. 50 has the power, and market controll in hiphop. He can basicly call shots, especially on Clear Channel Stations... so he does have the pull, to get Game off of rotations....then the West is fucked. 50 has ALOT of power in this industry. This isnt about who is "real," whos a Gangster, and all that fluff, cuz most likely if either one of these cats gets shot or killed, it will be from an associate of the two, not from the two artists themselves.

I think you're totally wrong on this one...I think Interscope/Dre has the power and market control in hip hop, not 50 cent. It's because of Dre and Em that 50 got his buzz so, that's wrong in my eyes. It's not going to be another East/West thing. Half the artist and fans in NY hate 50 so it's not going to go there.. tha Westcoast has their own radio stations so what if they stop his music from playing on Eastcoast radio niggaz were goin' Platinum and 2X platinum when tha East vs West beef was real heated. 50 has control over tha weak minded Hip Hop fans and you seem to be one of them sounding all scared and shit that 50 can do this and that.

i dont know why but to me it seems like 50 is scared. not so much of game but of the rest of his homies. la is almost where all his videos are shot, a lot of his money comes from west coast listeners because i know a lot of ny dont like him. so if he comes out here theres no telling what will happen. a lot of those bloods have nothing to lose. they'll go to jail and their homies will be there and i think 50 knows that. thats just my opinion.
or it could all be promotion for the first week of 50's album then all of a sudden after he got the momentum then everything is back to normal. so u guys have to admit that he's been everywhere on the news. on all hiphop sites, on mtv, everything i hear about in the street is did u hear what 50 said, even on here. realistically he wouldve pushed maybe 6 or 7 hundred thousand but close to one million??? thats a lot. and it has to be because of the publicity

We have our own stations, controlled and ran by Clear Channel. Dont get into an internet tough guy flame war. How many west coast acts do you hear playing on the radio? In rotation we have Kam, and Game on 106. Go to www.power106.fm. Who the fuck is all over the front page, and every page on the site? Is it Kam? No, is it Game? No...Its 50. Look at the play list. Out of the 33 artists that are on the play list, 5 of those are from the West Coast. 100.3, the beat is similiar, but they only have 3-4 West Coast artists on their play list. 99.1 (inland empire) is the exact same. Now if you go to Hot 97 in New York, you are going to get a MAXIMUM of 1-2 West Coast artists. And those will be to Game, or Dre, or Snoop. THATS IT!
You have to understand this industry, and Clear Channel gives the same play list to all of their owned stations. There is only room for minor changes coming from a program director, and its not in their best interest to play acts of their own chosing. Clear Channel is in the business of selling product, NOT MUSIC. Jimmy has the power, Interscope has the power. But 50 is their biggest artist, and if you think he has ZERO pull with Jimmy and Interscope you're out of your mind. He has broken all types of records these past two weeks for having 5 songs in the top of the singles charts. You think Interscope, and Jimmy are going to just say Fuck 50? Wait till you see Billboard record sales, and watch how many units 50 pushed...then come back and tell me he has zero power.

Exactly...this is just unbelievable. If this is some sort of "publicity-stunt", then it's safe to say that 50 crossed the line: you wanna create a buzz? That's fine. But a person has been shot over this! That's waaaay beyond a "publicity-stunt" in my opinion...

You should take the time to read it....I didnt diss. I want the West back on top, like everyone else here... but you have to look at the reality of the market, and who is pulling the strings. Our west coast stations (except for kday) give way more love to New York, then to Cali.

I disagree with this. Game has already proven that he is tight with plenty of east coast people not affiliated with G-Unit (Jada, Fat Joe, Fabolous). I agree that 50 prolly won't be performing in LA anytime soon, but the King of Farmington, Connecticut prolly won't be going back to Queens for a performance for a while, since he cannot go to his own neighborhood without $1.5 million worth of security. Like Fat Joe said, 50's basically isolating himself from the industry, and it's going to get to a point where he's gonna have to go into hiding or spend more millions on security because he's gonna b beefin with everyone. Also, only thing 50 has control of is G-Unit Records....Jimmy Iovine is the puppet master at work and can blackball 50 if he so chooses.

Speaking of bias, the media bias in this has been incredible -- nearly ALL of the coverage has been like 50 this 50 that... its ridiculous. its like a front-page news story every time he takes a shit, no wonder his album's selling so well.
