I just accidently deleted a folder which contained a couple hundred albums on mp3. It didn't send it to the recycle bin either! Is there a way I could possibly retrieve these from my hard drive? I've already tried System Restore and it didn't work.
Thanks :'(

don't listen to the people with their heads up their ass on here.
first thing first, see how important they are too you.
secondly, download a data recovery program. you can download them for free, and then use them to see what you can recover. but to recover, you need to purchase the program. I was able to download one of the full programs off of IRC tho.
the more stuff you delete, the more you turn on/off your computer, the harder it will be to recover them. and don't feel so bad. In september 04 I lost nearly 16000 mp3's. Last week I just lost 20000. I have my harddrive in a data recovery place seeing if they can get them back.

depending how long ago it happened and how much activity your drive has had since then, try using a program called file scavenger. works everytime for me
